I bought this toy knowing that my dog might not take to it. She loves plush toys and fetch, but lost interest in rubber/chew toys once she was done teething. Since this toy is for fetching, but has that rubber texture I wasn't so sure she would like it...and the verdict is a no-go. She walks up to the toy, sniffs it, and walks away. That said I will continue to try on occasion to get her to play with it. The appeal to me is that it is different from a ball and safer than a stick. I took a star because my dog is a small breed and this stick is bigger than I anticipated even after looking over the dimensions and if they had a smaller size I think my dog might be more inclined to try it. Overall if you have a dog that is medium sized, loves rubber toys and fetch, then this would be a winner! … more

I thought it would last longer than traditional squeak toys since it was reported to not have an actual squeaker. He started chewing on the end of the toy, though and it didn’t last a day. It was fun while it lasted but not a good value and I’m glad I only bought one. I won’t buy another one. … more

It's wonderful!
By Sisu on Jan 24, 2021
It's tough. He loves it. It's currently buried somewhere in the couch I suspect. Sturdy, attractive, it squeaks. Great buy.

My dogs new favorite toy
By Tori on Jan 23, 2021
The squeaker hasn't broken yet and my dog is pretty notorious for breaking those within minutes of receiving a toy, so yay! He loves this toy, the shape makes it easy for him to hold and chew, the squeaker works great (and isn't obnoxiously loud), and its pretty durable. He chews the heck out of it and its in great condition still

Not for serious chewer
By Jimmy on Jan 23, 2021
I have a 6 month old GSP pup who is a serious chewer. She made short work of this. Fine for fetch but when she sat done to gnaw it came apart in less than 5 minutes

not for aggressive chewers
By dlynn on Jan 22, 2021
My dog loved his new chew toy but he had it destroyed in less than 2 hours. Considering this was KONG brand I was a bit surprised because I've purchased other Kong chew toys and it takes Beau months to destroy them.

Durable toy!
By Citt on Jan 16, 2021
Our dog is a heavy chewer, this toy is great & he loves to squeak it & play fetch. I definitely recommend this toy, it keeps our dog entertained and active.

Fun...while it lasted
By Maddison on Jan 14, 2021
My dogs LOVED this toy....until they tore it apart 20 minutes later. So if you have any powerful chewers, just know this toy might not hold up well.

Was great but got torn apart on the first day
By AnnieB on Jan 14, 2021
I bought two, one lasted a few days the other was torn apart in a few hours. If you have a chewer this toy isn't for you.

dog ate it

My dog started ripping the ends of this and then ate it. Her poop turned blue. Would not recommend.

Tough toy that stands up to lots of chewing
By discoginny on Jan 11, 2021
We have 2 Goldens, one being a puppy and they need sturdy extreme toys to play with. I've bought 2 of these and both are still intact and have stood up to lots of play. We've had them for several months and still in perfect shape. I would not hesitate to buy this for an extreme chewer. They also squeak making it even more fun for the doggies.
