Tennis ball alternative - yes! Long-lasting - no.
My pup has started to chew tennis balls to the point of cracking them open, defuzzing the pieces, and then chewing on the rubber like a human would chew on gum. This ball is a great alternative, but the material is too soft, and the same chewing action destroyed it in less than 10 minutes of a fetch session.
EZ to Destroy
The outer skin of this ball comes off too easily. There might be choking or intestinal problems associated with this ball.
Perfect for Fetch
Perfect for fetch. My dog will quickly put a hole in normal tennis balls. These last a little longer and are still throwable with the fetch tool even after awhile

My dog loves this ball! It is going to be very difficult for my el destructo dog to destroy it too.
Not for power chewers
My OFRN loved them for about 30-minutes, and then they ripped the yellow exterior off and the rest is history.

Sturdy, Good size
Sturdy ball, similar in size to a tennis ball but safer. Nice weight for throwing. Stands up to chewing.
Great for my anxious dog
This lasted 7 weeks with everyday use until the constant chewing separated the rubber at the red seam. I don't mind because her real tennis balls would only last 3 to 4 weeks and she only played with those 1 hour a day! My 5 yr old female dog loves playing catch with anything really. She likes to play with this but loves just chewing, mouthing it while we watch tv. She is medium sized and a mild chew strength.This ball was her favorite to lay alone with and chew on so I had to buy more.
Yay a ball they can't destroy
We have 2 very active German Shepherd young adults, they destroy everything,we're working on 2 weeks and this ball is still in tact!
Fun But didn’t last
It was a fun toy but did not last. Tried to keep it away from them after we played in the pool. But once they got a hold of it long enough, IoT did not survive the chewing. The squeaker lasted a few minutes. The balls lasts about 5 one hour plays in the pool.
