Awesome puzzle toy
My dog is new to puzzle toys and he LOVES this. It’s not too hard but it keeps him engaged. He’s actually obsessed with it. He’s picky and hard to get him to eat his food, but put that same food in this kong and he can’t get enough! I throw a few treats in with the kibble to make it extra exciting. My dog is a major chewer and this thing has held up.
Heavy duty Kong
We've never had a Kong before so I'm not sure how this should work. Our dog is an 11 1/2 year old olde english bulldogge with a large mouth/jaw. We moved recently and she's been chewing every piece of cardboard/paper she can get her teeth on. I left the Kong loaded with treats one day while I was going to be gone for a few hours. When I got home the treats were gone, and I could tell she had chewed it quite a bit because her bulldogge drool was all over it. Next time I am going to try peanut butter because that was a lot of treats for a day. I assume it kept her busy for a while so I would say it's a good thing.
"Treats come out???" ~My dog
This is a great toy to get my dog used to thinking about toys as puzzle games. He isn't really interested in ball-shaped toys and isn't much for fetch, but once I showed him that food comes out of it if he rolls it around, he was hooked. He doesn't generally eat much of his food when it is out in a bowl, but shove it in here with a tiiiiny bit of treat encouragement and he will literally roll it around until well after it is cleaned out. The not-completely-spherical design also helps it stay a little more confined to a particular area rather than going until it hits a wall. Like all KONG rubber products, it is very easy to clean. Which is good, because my dog has a surprising amount of drool. Be careful when filling it with treats - anything that you have to push on to get through the hole will not come out for your dog, and it will be hard for you to get out later. If you have larger treats, chopping them up to make them fit is generally pretty easy.
I was robbed
Seriously, my dog loved this ball but my landlord's dog kept stealing it so we have it to him. He's a lab so if we replace it he will just take the next one too lol very durable and easy to use
My dogs love their kongs! I fill theirs with a small scoop of peanut butter mixed into their normal kibble and run it under the water for a bit to soften it up and they chew on their Kong for hours!
Great treat dispensing toy for our strong jawed heeler/pitbull mix. He will spend a long time chewing on this and trying to get the treats we put inside. It doesnt squeak and so far has held up well. Kong delivers once again!
Super cute to watch
Even with slow feeders I feel like my pup eats his food really fast! I've gotten many recommendations to try using this specific Kong food/treats dispensing ball toy, and I'm totally satisfied with it. It slows down Binky's eating way down, and it's really cute to watch him pick up and drop the ball and bat it around to try to release his food. He'll start at his placemat but eventually end up in the middle of the living room!
Great for treats and teeth
This is the best treat dispensing toy I have found for my Schnauzer. I put small treats in it when I leave to distract her and even when the treats are gone she really likes to chew on the toy. It is durable and just the right size for her.
good choice ..
My 10 month old Maltipoo loves this Kong toy. Not being round like his other toys results in different directions while moving around on the floor.
Our dog loves this thing! And it does wonders for his teeth. He loves bouncing and chasing it to get treats out or just sitting and chewing it when there is a bone inside! It’s very strong and great for those with stinky breathe.
