This is my dog's favorite treat! It works great on lick mats. Please bring back the chicken option, that is her favorite flavor!!
DON’T LISTEN to everyone saying it’s runny. Obviously you have to mix peanut butter before you use it because it separates lol. Just knead the tube before use, then it’s not runny. Anyway I searched HIGH AND LOW FOR A TRAVEL PEANUT BUTTER POUCH WITHOUT SUGAR OR DAIRY (because dogs don’t need those). This is the ONLY ONE I’VE FOUND. I’m so thankful for it. It’s extremely convenient which I need since I can’t go get a jar from the pantry (mobility issues). The only downside is the snap cap is a little difficult to open. But my pup loves this stuff and there’s no added sweetener which I love. I’d give it ten stars if I could.
We use it on a lick mat or in a Kong toy and my dog loves it. It keeps him occupied so I can trim his nails, brush him out, or leave him in his kennel quietly.
I don't really understand all this about it being runny. Mine was extremely thick and all i did was smoosh it around before using it.
I was excited to get this for my Belgian Malinois puppy. If you know the breed, you know you need to keep them mentally or physically stimulated. I wanted to give him something new and try a different flavor to put in his kong. Which he loves and keeps him occupied while I have to work. The first time I went to use this product, it was very watery. It poured straight out the bottom on the kong and onto the rug. It’s very hard to squeeze out even the thicker part of it and it still brings a watery mess with it. I’m not sure if I just got a bad batch, but unfortunately I do not recommend this and will not be buying again. Which saddens me because I typically like kong products. Especially for a hyper, active chewer like my Belgian.
I ordered 2 of these for my dog’s Kongs. One packet was so runny, it was like water & wouldn’t even stay in the Kong. With the other packet, the product barely came out of the spout. I ended up squeezing so hard that the seam busted open & made a big mess. Both went in the trash! I’ll stick to the canned Kong fillers from here on out.
At home we use regular peanut butter for treats but these are great for travel. As others have mentioned, they’re a bit runny when you first open them because of oil separation and they’re a bit hard to mix completely, so just open with caution. Once the first little bit is squeezed out I haven’t had an issue with too much mess.
When I first opened it, it was very runny and it made a mess....it seems the liquid and the solids separated and it was hard to squeeze it enough to get the right consistency. I put it in the refrigerator and that helped but then it was very hard to get it to squeeze out of the container. I bought this because I thought it was be more convenient than a jar of peanut butter and a knife...but that isn't the case.
What a mess! This comes out watery, falls out of the Kong and makes a sticky mess all over me, my dog and my house. The Kong filler in the can is much better. I will never order this again. I bought two of them in different flavors and I'm throwing them both out. Waste of money.
This was our first time trying the treat squeeze in this form (we usually get the canisters that press and release like spray cheese). She absolutely loves the taste, although it was a bit difficult to work with; it came out pretty soupy. It says no refrigeration needed, but I had to refrigerate some so that it wouldn't make a mess. Other than that, a great buy.
