Doesn't work well
By Lily on Apr 10, 2021
The product includes a spinner inside to slow the dispensing of the treats, but I could never figure out how to position it inside and of course there are no instructions. Our 3 month old FCR quickly figured out that the lid was easy to unscrew for easy access to all the treats. The product is sturdy. Our puppy continues to play with the "lids", but it does not do what it is intended for.

Not durable
By Treats on Mar 27, 2021
My dog was able to open the toy in less than 10 min. I figured maybe I just didn't tighten it enough so tried again. Less than 5 min she had it open again. The toy is really big so probably not good for a small dog and can't withstand even minimal chewing. Don't buy this! Picture is after 40 min of play

Works for our mini pig
By msmayf on Mar 23, 2021
Bought this for our 225 pound mini pig. Was looking for something challenging for her that was also durable enough to withstand a pig. The only problem was that she was able to untwist it fairly quickly, but a couple of layers of making tape on the threads worked like a charm and it's held up very well so far.

Don't waste your money
By Brit on Feb 23, 2021
The idea of this is fantastic. Execution, not so much. Frustrating to twist together (constantly cross threads) but doesn't stay together. I have a 45 lb cattle dog and one pounce splits this in half. Holes that dispense food are so large that even the biggest kibble falls out really easily. I sent this piece of plastic to the recycling center.

Nice concept, but...
By Stacy on Feb 26, 2021
My dogs love puzzle type food toys. I like that it makes their meals last longer and the dogs enjoy working for their meal but this toy doesn't really allow for either. It comes apart quickly just from being rolled around. My dogs aren't rough on this toy and it still doesn't stay together.

A big noisy barrel
By Pastapups on Jan 2, 2021
We are avid collectors of food puzzle toys. My dogs like this toy, and it sure keeps them entertained, but there are 2 reasons why I'd give it 4 stars and not 5: (1) if you have hardwood floors, don't give it to your dog while you're on the phone or a Zoom call; and (2) it is really big (like, unnecessarily too big!). I suspect it is what you would use to feed Great Danes. I like that you can open it up and put extra stuff in it to make it more difficult for the treats to come out.

Spins itself open
By Bean on Mar 31, 2021
This puzzle/treat dispenser would be perfect if it could stay closed the entire time. By the end of the treats running out, it's opened up.

disappointed in Kong this time.
By kona on Dec 19, 2020
I love Kong products and so does my two year old Aussie. I was really excited to get her a new treat/food dispenser. (She loves the classic wobble Kong). However the four times my dog has used it she managed to easily unscrew the dispenser and access all the food. The durability is good and it’s a good idea it would just be better if you could “lock” it or it was a tighter screw. Would not recommend to anyone who has a determined dog or a really smart dog. Disappointed Kong.

My Dog LOVES It!!!
By BonnieDad on Mar 26, 2021
We never put a bowl of food down for the dog anymore. We just measure her allotment into the ball and she's off and running!

Dog Owner from WI

Usually Kong brand means durable and well made. This toy doesn't screw together tightly and our Bernese figured out that when she hits it with her big paw, the 2 halves separate. Very disappointing.
