I wish I had read the reviews I have very intense chewers and these toys literally didn't last 30 minutes They got them open got the middles out and shredded those up as well I had to take them both the way they destroyed them inside and out I have Pyradoodles. Considering the price I think Kong should not promote these for large breed dogs.
Bought this as a gift. They say it falls apart after a few minutes of play. Not very entertaining…
This toy is excellent for stimulating our dog during meal times and slowing him down. We bought the large version of the toy for our 70lbs dog and have not had any issues with the toy opening or breaking. It extends meal time from about 1 min to 15 mins. I like that it had rubber strips all around to dampen the noise when it’s used on hard surfaces.
My lab threw on floor and the whole ball opened and treats flew everywhere. He did this on more than on occasion - wouldn't recommend for big dog.
Would be so much better if it latched or secured shut in some way. My dogs get them in stewed in 2 seconds.
unfortunately, Zeus chewed it to peices in 2 days love everything else. Especially the ease of ordering on line!
I really like this product! I have used literally dozens of slow feeders and this one is easy to fill and use, it is quite large(so it doesn't get lost easily) and it quiet even when used on my wood floors. I gave it 4 instead of a 5 stars only because it took me several fills to figure out a way to fill it without food coming out the hole on the other end. Hint, I just held the product by putting my finger through the hole and problem solved. My dogs eat all their meals out of slow feeders like this Kong Treat Spinner or King Wobblers. Fun fact* Dogs are contra free loaders which just means they would rather work for their food than have it easily accessible.
Very flimsy, does not stay together at all when nosed around gently. Quality assurance really missed the mark on this toy.
I love this toy but it comes apart kinda easy. My guys aren’t super aggressive with it either.
One recommendation, don't give it to your dog when you are trying to listen to something, it is very noisy BUT, my dog loves this. The first time he used it he had to lay down afterwards, it wore him out-he is almost 2 years old. It not only rolls but it flips and he can pick it up easily. It is fun to watch him with it.
