While I was excited to try this for my guy that loves to keep busy, it just didn't work for us. He chewed a lot of the orange part out in 10 minutes, and then when it was stuck he gnawed away at the orange part until he could get to the bone. And after that I had to shove the bone out with a knife and completely destroyed the inside. Definitely not for any kind of hardy chewing. Was hopeful because of the brand but I guess I'll keep looking.
HUGELY disappointing! I wish I had read reviews instead of just adding these two Kongs to my cart. I put some basic treats inside and in less than 15 minutes, this is what they look like. I have two Mini-Aussie’s.
My nine month old labrador puppy had this torn apart in pieces and was trying to eat it within a couple of days! Waste of money!
Got this for my pit bull mix, she had small pieces of the blue part of in 1 hour. This Kong toy does not hold up like the other Kong products!
Less than five minutes and my girl had this in pieces. This came up when I searched for heavy chewers☹️
Do not use with Pets that have a strong jaw, my pet ingested some of this anf got very sick.
My dogs had these for one day and chewed chunks off of both the toys.
My vet recommended we get my dog off the “hollow bone” which we used to put treats in. The dog took to it immediately and we love it because it is quiet and easy to clean!
One of my doggies loves this with peanut butter or something else in it. Carries it around after food is gone to let me know he likes it so much.
I have a ton of food stuffable dog toys to freeze food in for rewarding and/or training and these are my favorite! Firstly, I use Dr. Harvey’s oats and veggies to make a base, add meat etc. stuff both ends and freeze. It’s easy for the dogs to hold like a real bone and they can chew on it without me worrying about breaking teeth, bone splinters, getting tongue stuck from suction lock or what have you. When the puppy still had razor sharp puppy teeth, she was able to tear off a FEW TINY TINY pieces of the soft inner rubber, but has not since. Just seeing these, the dogs run for their crate, have their 15-20 min lunch, then take a nap!
