Boa is super soft to the touch. don’t let the soft pillowy feel fool you - they stay on. Both my cats love this. With feathers, I’m always afraid of them falling off and potentially becoming a choking hazard so I was really glad that this did none of that. The feathers are also super thin, no big or pointy pieces so even when my cats manage to pick some off it’s barely noticeable.
my cats love this teaser. it has some stray fluffs that come off, but that is expected. I have 13-19lb ragdoll cats and the heaviest one loves this toy the most. the toy has not broken in the 1 month I have had this toy!
Chewy is a great website!! Once an order is placed, it ships in one day and received in two days. Can't get much better than that. They also have a great variety of products. I won't buy from any other supplier.
My cats love this thing, but as with everything they love, they knew they had to destroy it. The boa things unraveled Hi, you still got murders in your little heart or your friendly boy and your friendly boy or murderous boy and detached from the wand. There's little puffs of feather boa bits floating all around the place. My cats think they are snacks. It's a super fun toy for approximately 12 hours.
I call this Maggie's feather boa. I drag it along the floor and she ponces on it. She loves it.
My cats love these boas! They will pick one up in there mouth and carry it over to me so I will play with them. I can sit there for hours moving the boas back and forth while my cats goes crazy. The boas are attached to a short stick/wand which makes it easier to swish the boas around. I highly recommend them to anyone with a cat that has a boas fetish.
While my cat loves this toy it is poorly made. I would give it a 5 star because he loves it but a 1 star because it came apart immediately. It detached from the want and the feathers come off easily.
My cat ignores about 90% of her toys but this one is in her top three! She has caught it so many times with crazy claws and it is just as good as when it was new. She catches it and just licks it. I first thought it was cute that she was "grooming" it but then I googled and it turns out this is an instinctive behavior. When cats catch birds in the wild they use their scratchy tongues to assist in pulling out the feathers. Not great imagery but I love seeing her "getting back to her roots". With all the licking and attempts to remove feathers it has not once shed into her mouth. Really surprised it doesn't have any shedding considering how delicate the feathers are. She also kills all of her wands right off the bat, chews the end to pull the toy off, she hasn't been able to detach this one. I am careful and remove it when we are done with supervised play. I, of course, wouldn't suggest leaving it out unsupervised as with most wand/stringy/feathery/etc toys.
My one 2yr old cat loved it. I was surprised that it was not bigger and fuller, but she didn’t seem to mind. She’s happy with it.
I just got that last week and it's already broke, the feathers are already tore out of the stick
