Louie is not happy...squeaker is intermittent...not a fun toy
Louie is all about the squeak and noise the toy makes. All the other kong stuffies squeak like crazy. The gator is suppose to squeak and "whoosh"...good luck with that. Louie just gets frustrated because it won't make noise...
No more Gator
My seven month old Weimaraner had this toy destroyed with in one hour. I bought this toy cause it had such good reviews boy was I wrong again. It is more for a dog that is not so hard on there toys.
Love the toy
We love the Kong brand toys. These are soft, small and very durable. We have three of these toys.
Less than 5 minutes
Saw all of the great reviews about the tough chewers....less than 5 minutes and my Jesse had ripped open this guy's nose. So sad. Not satisfied! I'm looking for toys that REALLY are TOUGH and will last a few months?? Is that too much to ask for? (I have a sheepadoodle, btw....)
Put Up a Good Fight
I ordered this toy when there was a sale of buy one get one. I figured my dog would have it torn apart within an hour or two of having it because that's what he does. But his happiness for the hour or two would be worth it! The toy surprisingly lasted a few days before it lost a limb. There are a few holes in it too but still going strong. I monitor my doggo to make sure he isn't eating the stuffing. He loves his dino! I would not recommend if your dog is a super chewer who swallows pieces but overall this has been a decent toy for a couple of weeks.
2 Squeakers!
Our 2 Border Collies sniffed Gator for a day and then started playing with him indoors only. They love the 2 squeakers. Seeing the 2 dogs trotting down the hallway with Gator between them in both mouths, squeaking all the way, is a fun sight. The fabric is tough. The stuffing is quite compressed which makes it hard for them to get a hole made in the fabric. After 3 weeks there is just a tiny hole on top of the head, no stuffing removed. Tough toy!
Great toy for aggressive chewers
Even though I removed the gators back "fins", Beau has not been able to tear anything apart. I thought for sure the little arms and legs would go, but he loves to bite the stomach and swing it around. Beau is a 3yr old doxie/golden mix, and can chew thru nails lol
dogs love!
This has really been holding up to both my 75 lb pitbull mix and 50 lb lab mix. They usually tear up all stuffed toys within the hour but this one so far only has 1 small tear on the leg and on the back. The sz medium fits in my labs mouth perfectly; he likes to walk around with it in his mouth causally squeaking it for hrs! Buying the other 2 designs now!

Perfect toy for my dogs
I really like the way this toy is made. It's very durable. My French Bulldog has not been able to destroy it. Normally he tears apart toys to get to the squeaker within a few minutes but has not been able to tear this one apart. It's made very well and I really like to material it's made from. I've had it a week and it's still intact. I highly recommend this toy.
