  • Christmas Bears

    By on

We do our Christmas at Thanksgiving every year We have 3 dogs here that we buy toys and treats for and let them open their own gifts. We have a blonde Lab named Blondie, A black Basenji. named June Bug and a black and white shiatsu named Buddy. I bought all Kong toys as the two bigger dogs play tug of war. Two bears and a squirrel. Most of the time I end up throwing away their toys before they go home but not this year I got to send the squirrel home with the Basenji the 2 bears are still intact at my house. These toys are really Kong Tuff as the 2 bigger dogs played tug of war for 4 days. Photos attached taken by Brad Errigo.

  • Great toy, but to small for large dog

    By on

We were disappointed in this toy for our 55# Australian Shepherd "Skye". Earlier we purchased a brown bear which was about 13"+ tall and proportionately larger than the one we received which was only about 11". The original one is still hanging in there (nearly a year old) Kong is a great product line and this is a great toy, our dog loves it "get Bear" and she goes for it!!! with the rope inside, the larger one is both a tugger and a cozie for our dog. It may be we were shipped the wrong size inadvertently, not sure. My complaint is the description is insufficient to describe what you are purchasing, we wanted the "big one".

  • Stuffed With Stuffing, Not Knots

    By on

I didn't receive a brown bear filled with knots. I received a lavender bear filled with stuffing. I'm sure my dog would have destroyed it either way, but I was hoping the toy would entertain her a little longer with knots to play with rather than what actually occurred, which was an explosion of stuffing all over the living room. I would recommend the stuffing-filled bear for dogs who don't destroy stuffed toys, and I would recommend the knot-filled bear for dogs who like to rip toys into oblivion.

  • Built for a puppy, but good for a kitten

    By on

I got this toy for one of my 8 month old kittens; Colossus. He's a big orange tabby boy and went through a longer teething phase than normal. He chewed up all kitten toys so I got him this. It's pretty durable but chewed through one completely (got the squeaker, stuffing, and knots out). He's on his second one now and only chews occasionally. He loves the squeaky sound and it's the perfect size for him to carry around in his mouth.

  • Another one bites the dust

    By on

Oh my goldendoodle has not met a toy she hasnt been able to completely destroy within an hour. Unfortunately this adorable Kong bear went down in less than an hour. If you have a strong chewer don't waste your money. This dog was born with some sort of a version to anything with polyester fiberfill inside. All four limbs were removed the head decapitated and unstuffed. now she walks around with just the biggest knot.

  • Leg Came Right Off

    By on

We recently adopted our first "large" dog (52 pounds). I searched for a toy for medium to large dogs. This toy was advertised to hold up well with larger dogs. The first day my dog had it, she tore the leg off and we had stuffing all over the house. She now loves chewing on the frayed rope that is inside the leg. The knots inside the bear are a great idea, but please do not think that this toy is durable or indestructible.

  • Her Favorite Toy!!!

    By on

My sweet little girl is growing up fast and tearing apart almost all of her toys! This is the one toy she has yet to tear apart and it is her absolute favorite. She had one previously that she had thrown up on (and I didn't have the stomach to clean it, so I had to throw it out) and as soon as I ordered her and received this new one it hasn't left her side! It is her favorite cuddle accessory. Love love love this!!

  • My little Buddy loves this!!

    By on

Oh my....As soon as I took this you out of the box my little Buddy went wild!!! I love the fact that it is a rope inside the bear along with a little squeaky. He is just 2 years old and loves to play tug. This toy is definitely one that he goes for first! Buddy is a Jack Russell and Minature Doberman mix. He is only 10 lbs. So this toy us perfect for his size. Highly recommended.

  • Great toy for our dogs.

    By on

These are great because they have minimal stuffing. The inside has a tough rope. Our dogs play tug of war with these bears. They are tough toys. One likes to carry her toys around and this looks so cute. We don't have children anymore, so it's fun to see the dog's bears around the house. Won't let the dogs take the bears outside, so we don't lose them.

  • Lasted the longest with my dog!

    By on

I thought when I finally got this toy, my dog in no way was able to get into the stuffing. Well weeks later, with the determination of a Goldendoodle, he opened up the back of the head, and removed what little stuffing. I am currently going to remove all stuffing that I can and sew the hole backup. I feel the knotted rope alone inside will be enough to keep him interested!
