Exactly what I've been looking for
This Pet bed is firm AND comfortable for my 85 lb pup. My English Cream Golden. Needed a pet bed with support, comfort, and with a waterproof inner cover so it doesn't stink after a few months. It has a washable outer cover which is removable and washable, so that won't be smelly either. Perfect.
Love this bed
This bed is easy to clean, and so comfortable I wouldn't mind using it. It doesn't seem to make my GSD hot, like most bed do.
Solid but Too Firm
My arthritic senior dog finds it too hard to lie on. The quality is there, and I don't think it will degrade anytime soon. However, I had to buy a separate pillow top to lay on top. I know that I couldn't lie on it for more than a couple of minutes.
Great for Seniors
My 72 lb., 14 year old with degenerative disc disease sleeps soundly on this bed. It's also low enough to make bedtime effortless. I only wish they made a larger bed. His old bed was 54" X 40" so he tends to fall out or lay his head off the side forgetting he's no longer in the big bed. But I highly recommend it.
GREAT DOG BED!!!
My 10 year old shepherd is so much happier and much less stiff. She gets up much easier and seems happier. Wish I had purchased this long ago!! Highly recommend it for every older dog. She has plenty of room to stretch out on the extra large bed.
So comfy, easy to clean
The pups love these. They're comfortable and great for my older dog. I laid on it to test when it was new and it held my weight perfectly, comfortably and reformed when I got up. Fortunately haven't had to test the waterproof liner yet, but that was a selling point for me because our male kitten ruined the last beds. Overall really happy with them so far.
Not durable
Not durable whatsoever and not for dogs who are tough on their beds. The cover is a very thin, cheap fleece and after having it for just 3 weeks my one dog easily ripped through it and chewed into the foam center. I understand dogs chew things, but for the price the cover should have been a lot sturdier and thicker. Really disappointed with the quality of this. Would not recommend.
Waterproof!
Finally a dog bed whose foam mattress is encased in waterproof plastic. I have two older dogs with urinary issues. I have had to throw out numerous dog beds in the last couple of years because of it. Yesterday I washed all the linings and the dogs. What a relief! No more unnecessary but painful filling the dump with unbiodegradable foam. Two points: please make additional covers available and add a heavier duty cover and zipper.
Maximum Comfort for an Old Dog
It does our hearts good to see our 13 year old golden, Ace, comfortably resting his old bones on such a high quality dog bed. We considered the cheaper egg crate foam beds, but they pale in comparison to a thick memory foam bed like this one. Nice cover too! We couldn't be any more pleased with this purchase.
Exactly what I wanted
I have an older pup who sometimes wets her bed, this bed makes clean up easy and she loves the comfort of this bed. She’sa Shepherd malamute and is about 80-85 lbs. she has plenty of room to stretch out with the large bed
