Feed free choice as the sole ration. Keep feeders about 1/2 full at all times. Feed should be fresh and feeders clean to help avoid disease. Supplemental grit may be provided if birds are confined to a cage. Grit helps in feed digestion. Provide plenty of fresh, clean water at all times. Layers should receive about 16 to 17 hours of light per day for optimum laying potential.

I have only hens, and they seem to highly enjoy this brand and blend. They just started laying this month. They all eat this readily and don't try to pick out any specific bits. I've started recommending Kruse's brand because they have so many varieties and blend options.
They like it. The one I bought from a discount store was all dust. This one they eat and has minimal calcium dust
My chickens did not like this feed. It also took a long time to be delivered . I would not be buying again.
My girls (26 of them) have been laying through the winter and I think this crumble may have something to do with that. They love this and gobble it up. I also offer them a pellet, but the crumble is always the first to go. I stock up on Kruse's because it goes fast around here. Been very pleased with this product.
First time trying this food because I was looking for a smaller size bag then the usual 50 lbs I buy at the feed store . My flock is down to one and I wanted to make sure she had fresh grain and instead of one that would sit in the garage for months. When I opened the bag it had a lovely sweet fresh smell and my chicken loves it. Unfortunately it costs almost as much as 50lbs, but she’s worth it
The WHOLE flock loves it!!! Also provides the key ingredients my feather babies need.
Our chickens, ducks and Peacocks all love this food! It was delivered quickly.
I love this feed for my chickens. They seem to like it very much.
The quality is pretty good. Very little dust/crushed crumble. Good crumble size too; not too small.
