Non-bungee Leash Perfect for Reactive Dog!
My dog has generalized anxiety and is reactive to other dogs, so it is important for me to have a leash that goes on my waist so that I can have better control of my dog when she goes crazy (so we can walk the other direction and move along). I used to have a bungee leash but my dog seems to enjoy the bounciness of it too much—she ends up jumping more! Sadly, most waist leashes are bungee type, so I was really happy to see this one on Chewy. I have used this leash for a few weeks now and my dog is less jumpy when she sees another dog. I think it’s because I have better control over her (and I don’t even have to try too hard!) so she simply obeys. The only caveat is that the soft handle is a bit weird. I haven’t figured out how to use it properly lol. I just leave it hanging haha!
Awkward grip
For the most part I have disliked this leash. It is good for hands free, though confusing and not straightforward. If not handsfree, the handle on this is Awful! It's too thick, is slippery with the fleece material and bunches up awkwardly.
super versatile!
I really like this leash for the versatility. I can make it any length by changing where the carabiner is clipped, or I can use the loops along the leash as finger holds while walking. This makes a huge difference in the city when environment and situational factors can cause a need for change quickly. This has also worked great for running. I highly recommend.
Great for hands-off walking!
Bought this back in September and have been using it for walks everyday ever since. It's nice to walk the dog without having to worry about accidentally losing the leash since I just wrap it around my waist. Really useful for jogs around the neighborhood too. Only downside is that if the leash is wrapped completely around your waist, it can be quite short and doesn't leave a lot of leg room between yourself and your dog.
Needs improvement
It’s an OK leash but the padding in the grip moves around too much I ended up taking it out.
Great handsfree leash, hope the 2nd lasts longer
Bought one 6 years ago and bought 2nd one recently, the inside loops snapped easily but it was replaced after 6 years! Great warranty support. End to End this leash does its job. Time will tell if the interior loop adjustments will hold up, it seems they are made stronger now?
Not a well made product
We got these leashs to take our two lab mix 11 month old puppies walking and the first day we took them they broke the clip that holds the leash. The clasp that allows you to choose how long or where the handle will be bent so now they dont stay clip the latch flips out and wont stay close. Should have been a more sturdy hook system, may be great leash for dogs under 50 pounds. Very disappointed in product waste of my money. Now looking into another company to purches from.
Skeptical, but Sold!
I have a new pup that has already escaped once, and it took 16 very frustrating days to get him home. After I got him home, I was afraid that if I dropped the leash on our walks (especially in icy conditions), that I would lose him again, so I started looking for hands free leashes. Honestly, this one seemed gimmicky, but I am totally sold and love this leash! I tie it around my waist on our walks and feel very secure about that. I can also, tie it to the handle in my truck, so that he cannot escape when I open the truck door. The leash is good quality, and very easy to use. This very well may be my forever leash.

Well made. I use it every day in multiple ways. I do not use the black soft handle part at all. moves around to much.
Shoddy snap
The first leash i ordered, the snap broke the second i opened it. I got a replacement from the amazing staff at chewy and the same snap broke. I can only figure at this point its a problem with the materials and not a one time thing.
