0 elasticity to the line. This makes it harder to attach to a tree or post. It's also not as long or easy to adjust the length of it. Ruffwear amd the Acadia versions are much nicer but, this does work.
I bought this for camping and backpacking, it’s an easy set up and if done correctly, shouldn’t damage the trees. (Also if you can’t figure out the buckle, look up how to use a cam buckle) I really don’t see the use of the “gear hangs” though. This tie out weighs 14.08oz. It is a bit heavy, but it’s only 2oz heavier than RuffWear’s tie out, and theirs is about $20 more expensive. My dog can only carry 7.5 pounds, and this tie out is about 11-12% of that, but it’s worth it for the peace of mind it provides.
