I bought these floating stones for a lake house weekend we were taking our pup with us on and she loved running in after these! She’s not 100% sure she likes swimming yet, so this was a fun way to introduce her to the fun of being in the water :) My husband loved being able to skip them into the water I bought these floating stones for a lake house weekend we were taking our pup with us on and she loved running in after these! I docked a star because her teeth did seem to indent/scratch the rocks more than expected for only a couple days of fetch play, but I would still re-buy even with this. … more

These are much smaller than I expected. Not to mention they were very difficult for me to locate in the lake/pond & creek water due to the darker color hues. They may be alright for dogs in a pool. My GSD (who loves toys, especially in the water) had no interest in these.

Swimming Rocks
By GiraffeLady on Jun 22, 2021
They really float and you can skip them in the pool. Our dogs love these. We have Rottweilers and to switch up swimming toys from bumpers and frisbees, I bought 2 sets of these and our 2 rotties are crazy about them.

less than a hour
By Softstone on Jan 22, 2021
My dog played with this for less than an hour and pieces started breaking off of it from where he would bite it to pick it up, had to throw away so he wouldn’t swallow what was left over.

Perfect river toy
By Hayley on Oct 28, 2020
Our big dogs (and the humans in our family) love these skipping stones for river days! They float, they truly skip like stones, and our dogs love to chew them. I would not recommend leaving your dog to its own devices with these, because pieces/small chunks will come off if your dogs are focus chewers like ours are. But for retrieval, they're awesome!

Awesome pool toys
By Manny on May 15, 2020
Our 2-yr old golden retriever is an enthusiastic swimmer and happiest when he is jumping into the pool to chase a toy. The brightly colored, fabric-covered foam balls we threw for him weren't holding up well at all ... and then I found these Kurgo stones. They are not uniformly shaped so they bounce unpredictably, making for an exciting chase. They float in the pool, and he loves to push them under the water with his paws and then dunk his head to get them. Though not intended to be chew toys, they have held up perfectly to his chewing during our swims. Totally practical and fun!!

She loved it
By Veronica on Apr 26, 2020
This was a gift for a friend's dog who loves to chase rocks, even to the bottom of a creek bed. She loved these! They're great because they even bounce on the ground. I don't know how they are in the water but so far so good

Not the same as they used to be
By Linda on Dec 29, 2019
I ordered these over a year ago and my dog loved them. He would go find his rock and chew on it for an hour before bed every single day—without fail. The two original ones were starting to wear out so I ordered new ones. Kurgo must have changed how they are made, the new ones didn’t last but 15 minutes before they both were severed into quarters. It really sucks because my dog loved them but I cannot buy them anymore. I trusted this brand but not sure anymore. Chewy refunded my purchase immediately when I told them—chewy is not the problem!

Huge hit for my golden!
By TuckersMom on Jun 24, 2019
He often likes to carry around real rocks, but these are much better! He greets me at the door with one, they float perfectly and have become a favorite pool toy. I’ll be buying more!
