Kurgo Step & Strobe Dog Boots, 4 count

I purchased these booties in the hopes that they would protect my dogs feet from the hot asphalt while she was on vacation with us. I could not be more pleased with these booties. The Velcro that attaches to it self along with the exact measurements, create a perfect and snug boot around my dogs feet. They dry quickly if they’ve been walked through wet grass or in the rain. The strobe lighting gives me an extra bit of comfort in knowing that if she ever got away from me at night she would still be visible. Cedar took to them very easily and after several walks There is no sign of any rub marks are any places that may cause discomfort that I have seen thus far. Ordered these to walk my dog in outdoor setting where the ground may be too hot or in places that aren’t city streets. Not sure why, but two of them the glue in the toe box is totally undone so they’re just holes/flaps and are very noticeable when bent. I had good expectations for these, but am a little disappointed in that.

My dog wears an XL and they fit well, but the placement of the straps has been rubbing on his dew claws and causing them to chafe/bleed. They do a good job of staying on his back paws, but the front paws have been a bit of an issue. My dog has an issue with one of his paws where it’s not perfectly straight (issue from birth) so I’m not sure if that has something to do with it, but I’m also not sure why that would affect his dew claws. I otherwise like the booties and they’ve been holding up well, my only real issue is the strap placement as I figured they probably wouldn’t stay on perfectly anyways.

The boots themselves are good quality, sturdy shoes. Even the extra small is a bit big for my dog's tiny paws but that's true for all dog shoes we've tried. The one thing I didn't expect is just how obnoxious the lights are. It's far too much and there's no turning it off. Will likely be returning these for the similar Kurgo boots without lights.

We use them regularly on our family walks. We always get compliments about how my shoes light-up. They're pretty durable and protect my paws in our hot weather. We tell people we got them on Chewy.com.

I measured my corgis paw and bought the smallest size, but unfortunately they were still too big. And also the boot took up her entire arm! But I really really really LOVE these boots. They are made really well and I can tell they would last a while if they had actually fit! If you’re looking for a small dog honestly these boots are not for you unfortunately. But still amazing quality!

I have bought numerous boots for my aging Newfoundland, who lost the spring in her step a year or so ago. I needed durable boots to protect her paws so she could still enjoy going on walks and benefit from the exercise without making her paws sore. Having spent lots of money on higher end boots that didn't fit; fell off; or weren't durable enough for a 100lb dog's paws, these have been a much needed surprise. They're durable and stay on her paws without issue. My girl seems to enjoy her walks in them and she's comfortable. I can't ask for much more than that!

Finally someone was using their cranium when they designed these. I have a mixed breed Pit/Boxer/Great Dane and he won't go on a walk without them. Took him 10 - 15 minutes to get adjusted to having something to cover his paws. Once he found out that he can climb up trees to catch kitty cats much easier! I would have given a 98% worth of 'Rating Stars' but for some odd reason the manufacturer's designers decided to place the threaded Velcro straps that are NOT with ONE LARGE strip but sowed 2 strips together which have to pass through the plastic wrap around and over time (quickly in my case due to the high amount of walking we do) will need to be replaced quicker than need be. My lab is 10 years old and had never worn shoes before so this was an experiment for sure. We moved to a city and last winter the salt on the sidewalks seemed to bother him so I wanted to get something to protect his feet. I measured his paws (while he was standing to get correct measurements with pressure) and these shoes fit perfectly. He of course walked funny at first but with a little treat motivation to keep moving, now he’s a pro. Only drawbacks are 1. These take a minute to put on, but the payoff is they don’t easily slip off so I wouldn’t even really call this a drawback. And 2. These shoes seem to be helping our girls feet. Zara, our Great Dane and part of my husband's running team. They come above her dew claw. Sadly they only last a few months.
