Broadening horizons
This life jacket gave Miki, 61 lbs, 4.5 year old rescue dog her first experience floating in the ocean and riding on a SUP board. She loved it and seemed to be able to move unhindered with this jacket. I still don't know if she knows how to swim but I know I don't have to worry. Great quality, good fit, and actually as life jackets go, nice looking. I mean, looking fabulous while floating on a board is important

Our Golden hind quarters sank when swimming. This solved the problem. He is swimming more and enjoying it

great life jacket
Perfect fit according to measuring guides given in description. My dog normally does not like any jackets or coats so I was worried that he wouldn't wear this one. He loves it and swims to his heart's content. Now when I get the coat out, he's excited because he knows it means swimming! It also appears to have a calming effect on him as he is easily excitable when meeting new people.

Excellent fit, dog has great range of motion
The small size fits our "barrel-chested" 34lb jack russell mix great. We often have issues finding sizes small enough in the front and wide enough on his tummy, but the adjustable straps worked great. He seems to still have a great range of motion in it - he likes he zoom and roll in between swims and this hasn't stopped him at all! Ha.
Great life jacket but...
My dogs still hate the water beyond getting their feet wet. I put this jacket on Lady, took her out to the pool, sat down in the water, lifted her onto my lap so she'd feel secure in the water and she nearly scratched my legs off trying to get out. Then she ran in a panic around the yard, under the table, through the shed, crashing into bushes, rakes, flowerpots and scraping along the walkway in an attempt to free herself from the jacket. The next day, I put the jacket on her again and she wore it most of the day in the house and for walks, but I didn't try taking her to the water again. At a loss as to what to do. This is a well-made jacket with sturdy loops for lifting and guiding. There are two D rings that are useful for leash attachment and there is even a (no-touch) tick remover secured to the collar area in case you need to remove a tick while you are out adventuring. I would definitely recommend this item. Bear in mind that the fit is, and should be, snug but it would be good to get the next size up if your dog's chest size is near (within an inch or two) the upper end of a sizing limit especially if the dog is still growing. I wish you better luck with your dog than I have had so far. Great product that I hope I will be able to convince my dogs to wear in the water.
Fits great and floats fantastic!!!!
Fits my mini Aussie great! She was previously scared to get in the pond, and lake, but now she LOVES it... because she can stay higher in the water. Dries quickly and isn’t hard to clean. ALSO NO water in her ears so that’s a PLUS!
