    We love our Kurgo harness

By HuskymuteDad on Apr 16, 2021

We bought the Kurgo harness to complement the Kurgo zip line we bought for securing our (highly active) 90-pound "Huskymute" (Siberian Husky-Malamute mix) Tyee. I'm not certain whether this would be a comfortable harness for everyday use - it is somewhat padded but not plush or soft, and the hardware might be too heavy for smaller dogs. The deal-breaker for me is the way the buckles clasp - it is unusual, and I found it very difficult to do. It is basically two metal pieces, and one slides upright through a slot in the other, then you flatten it so the buckles lie on top of each other. You have to do this on both sides. Besides it being a tight squeeze, once they are threaded, it feels like there is a possibility they could pinch with movement. As I was planning to use this as a walking harness as well as a car harness, it just feels like too much work to get on and off. … more
