Not fresh at all
I love Chewey they’ve Always been reliable and very quick with their deliveries. But as of late every single avi cake I get has a horrible date and they are not fresh and broken into pieces. I was forced to go to the local pet store where the date was 2023 as opposed to Chewey‘s 2022. If this continues sadly I will have to stop ordering from Chewey.
Truly a Fruit Delight
Lafeber has done it again with their Fruit Delight Avi-Cakes Large Bird Food. I do have a large bird...a green wing macaw...who loves his Fruit Delight Avi-Cake treat so much to say, "Mmmmmmmm." (which always is accompanied by beak/lip smacking). For healthy, happy birds, Lafeber is the brand that can be relied on.

When I can't find these items locally, I can count on Chewy to have them in stock!

Early Christmas present
Mr. Bert loved them. He can't wait to get more. Only gets 2 times a week as a treat. Mr. Bert is fuss with treats but really likes these. Will buy again. Price is a little cheaper then at pet stores.

A Nutritious Treat for Parrot
I am very careful about what I feed my 2 rescued African Grey parrots, so I research any product that I buy. The Lafeber brand has been around for many years and was developed by veterinarians. I do not feed this as their main food, but these are a welcomed morning treat and they are a perfect reward to hide in homemade destructible foraging toys which I provide several times throughout the day. Enriching the lives of these extremely intelligent companions is vital to their well-being! I buy these and Lafeber Nutri-berries from Chewy because I know they will be fresh and it's a great way to give healthy treats - plus, it's fun to watch how excited they get over a treat or a new toy.
Right date, delivered stale!
We have purchased these for years because our African Gray loves them. However, despite being within the "date" stamp, the product has been hard (stale) when delivered by Chewy.
