Description

A bird shall not live on seed alone, which is why you need to feed your feathered friend Lafeber Premium Daily Diet Cockatiel Bird Food. There’s no doubt that cockatiels, quaker parrots and Indian ringnecks love high-fat seeds and nuts, but a wild bird also spends his day busily foraging for local fruits, flowers and other plant matter, as well as insects and worms–all of which supplement his diet with essential vitamins, mineral and proteins. Lafeber’s Premium Pellets take the guesswork out of offering your bird complete and balanced nutrition with a veterinarian-developed, independently tested formula that’s designed to offer your birdie buddy everything he needs to thrive inside and out.

Key Benefits
  • Pelleted diet is made with a high-quality blend of natural ingredients like ground non-GMO corn, soybean meal, oat groats and whole egg–the most digestive form of protein.
  • Omega-3 and 6 fatty acids promote healthy skin and feathers, while essential chelated minerals are quickly absorbed for maximum benefit.
  • Made and hand-packed in the USA on the Lafeber farm using sulfite-free vegetables; naturally flavored and preserved.
  • Veterinarian developed to deliver exceptional nutrition; can be served as a complete diet or offered in combination with a seed blend, millet spray or fresh fruits and veggies.
  • Independently tested to ensure quality and nutrition you can trust; contains no artificial food colors or dyes.

    Only bird food I use

By Ashley on Oct 15, 2021

My birds love this food. My vet recommended it for my two tiles 11 years ago and they have been on it ever since. Pellets are 1000x better than seeds so I highly recommend making the switch.

not the favorite but will nibble

By jena on Aug 3, 2021

I had started my conure on lafebers nutriberries and avicakes before starting these and I think that helped the conversion process. My conure will nibble on these throughout the day buy will eat her seeds and millet first.

    My kids aren’t a fan

    By 80koglin on Mar 12, 2021

My birds are picking around these pellets... they used to eat the fruity pellets from zupreme and they’d eat them along with their seeds, they are not even trying these so I’m not sure what to do!

    Stubborn Seed Junkies

By Malka on Nov 24, 2020

I purchased this product because I am trying to encourage my seed-junkie 'tiel and his sidekick lovey to enjoy pellets in their diets. I chose the Lafeber Premium Daily Diet Cockatiel Food because of Lafeber's excellent reputation; the key benefits listed in the description; and, of course, the product's high customer rating. Unfortunately, my birds didn't read that information and want absolutely nothing to do with it. : -- (

    Product great/ expensive

By wayneman on Oct 11, 2020

Have been using this product for over 10yrs. My cockatiel loves it. Problem is it is getting very expensive. I used to pay $19, then $22. This recent purchase was $30 through chewy, shipping cost was ridiculous. Will have to look for a different alternative. $30 is way too much.

    Pellet diet

By Irish on Oct 21, 2020

Working hard to get my tiels to convert to pellet diet. They are actively pitching the pellets out of the cage. Their seed is being slowly decreased. Believe the pellet food is excellent and my tiels are stubborn!

    Lafeber Bird Food

    By LCG028 on Mar 27, 2020

I feed Lafeber's bird food to all my cockatiels, parakeets and my finch. When I first transferred them over to Lafeber's over a year ago, I started with Lafeber's Avi Cakes and kept adding more of the Daily Diet every day for a month until the Avi Cakes were just a treat now and then....they seem to love it!
