i thought this item was super cute and perfect for my dogs birthday. When we got it, the treat was super hard. I tried breaking pieces off with my hand and couldnt, i had to use a large kitchen knife to break off pieces but was too hard for her to eat and ultimately i decided not to give her any more than one piece that i watered down to soften up. Wish it was somehow made differently so it was easily edible for my dog.

This was a wonderful treat for my Idgie's birthday. I have a total of five dogs and they all got some. This is an appetizing, quality treat. It looks good and smells good. I tasted it and it was good to me. I tried to save half for later, (again) but they saw where I put it and I kept getting the "why can't we have that Mom?" looks, and I gave in to the pressure. This is the second one of these I've bought, and I will buy again.

My pup turned 9 years old today and I gave her this to celebrate the occasion! She's really picky when it comes to treats, so I was very surprised when she ate almost the entire thing! I did have to warm it up in the microwave with a damp paper towel to soften it up a little bit, but it was still a hit! The cake itself has a heavenly scent of gingerbread. I'll definitely be getting this again!!

I ordered this as a special birthday treat for our Staffie to share with our other dog as well. I cut it on the lines and only gave them 2 small slices each, both dogs weigh 60+ pounds. I gave it to them last night 10-19 and by this morning, 10-20, our staffie has thrown up twice and our hound has thrown up 3 times. Nothing makes these dogs sick, and the fact they are both puking all over the house makes me never want to buy this product again

This looked wonderful, it even smelled good, but none of the animals would eat it. My daughter even tried it and she said it was "gross tasting" LOL she is a believer that if the animals eat it than she should try it too. We tried to feed it to them a couple of different times and ended up just tossing it.

I got this for my mini pig's birthday. Being a vegetarian treat is why I got this for her. It smells good enough to eat yourself! It smelled like gingerbread. When Barbie got a whiff she got sooo excited! She was one extremely happy piggy!

Cute but my 1 yr old Peke puppy and her 13 yr old brother, didn't go for it. I made her a homemade doggie cake and she MUCH PREFERRED that then this! Funny, b/c my dec. Peke ABSOLUTELY went CRAZY over this. I gave it 2 stars b/c it's cute and the wrapping says it all. The pie is TINY ! BEWARE!!!! I would NEVER get another! It's not worth it for the cost. You can make Several homemade ones for the price of this.......!!!! BEWARE!!! I strongly suggest that.........!!! And they are probably more nutritious then this is.

When I opened the package there were ALOT of crumbs. But when I went to cut it I couldn't. Both dogs walked away from it. Threw it out. No birthday cake for my pups. Got a blue one for my boy and threw it away imm. It had bugs in it.

Bought this to celebrate my puppy turning 4, she shared with her 6 friends and all 7 dogs loved it, plan on purchasing again for the next dog in the family birthday.

We have 4 Shelties, the youngest just turned #1! Of course they absolutely loved the Pup-pie and devoured it!! As the human, I thought it was really hard, but hey what do I know!!
