Works well!

I use this restraint with a body harness for my dog when traveling in the car. I did measure carefully to make sure it was the right length for my car and to allow my dog to comfortably sit or lie down. She hasn't tried to chew it. It keeps her safely in one place in the car. I feel better knowing that she is restrained in case of sudden stops or an accident.

This cord is just right for our large dog. We feel he would be safe in an accident with it attached to his harness

Great car restraint

This works well. I thought the length would be good but it's too long. I ordered the longest size.

Heavy Duty Seatbelt

This seatbelt is awesome. My aggressive chewer cannot chew it into like she did another seatbelt brand new out of the bag.

Not long enough for big dogs, too rigid. Product needs to flexible. Dog needs to be able to move some.

Most Amazing Thing Ever

My 15 week old GSD puppy chewed through the seatbelt restraint that came with my Frisco seat cover almost the first day. Thankfully, he at least waited until we stopped to jump into the front seat from the back. This non-chewable restraint has been one of the the greatest things I have purchased for him. The only tiny drawback is that he definitely chewed off the rubber, protective casing over the metal. If your pup is a super chewed, maybe just remove that preemptively. Cannot recommend this enough.

my puppy chewed this in few days of uses

This was referred to us as a good non chew restraint seatbelt, but my puppy chewed this few days of use. Not recommended.

Dog Car Restraint

Does a great job of keeping your over-enthusiastic buddy from being in your lap as you drive. A choice of 3 different lengths can be combined any number of ways to give your dog plenty of freedom, yet out of your face and safely on the road. Oh, and the vinyl-coated wire resists serious chewing to the extent that both of my Huskies have given up, and now just enjoy the ride.

Perfect for me

This is just what I wanted. Keeps her on one side of the back seat and holds her in place for sudden stops. Hope we don’t have an accident, but this makes me feel more secure for her and I. I ordered the 31” which is just the right length. She can’t go far enough to hang herself, but gives her some freedom of movement.
