How well do this pad contain the smell of urine?

The ultra absorbent soaker layer pulls all moisture and odor down into the bottom of the pad. This layer prevents moisture and odor from settling at the surface of the pad.
My puppy likes to shred and eat regular pads instead of using them for their purpose. Do these shred?

These pads are made with Polyester, Cotton and Vinyl. While they are durable to stand up to machine washing, they are not chew-proof.
How Often do you wash the pads. Are they meant to be washed in the washer daily?

Once the Lennypad is soiled or dirty simply place in the washing machine with any cleansing solution. These can be washed over and over. To extend the life of your Lennypads the best practice is to hang or air dry the pad.
We have a new pup, and we have the iris play pen for when we aren’t home, and we’re training her to use pee pads, although I’d like something for the bottom of the pen in case there are accidents so it doesn’t ruin our floors, would this be something you’d suggest, if not, what? Thanks.

Awesome pads

These work great love the large size. Ease and convenience of being able to wash. Definitely a money saver.

Did great for a while

Bought these after our rescue had a litter of puppies to line the whelping box. After a few washes following the instructions they no longer absorbed liquid. We used them with just one puppy about 20lbs for one night. The next morning the floor was soaked. We picked up water at 7pm and let the puppy out at 12 am after letting out at 9pm. By 7am the floor was soaked. Great for whelping box but not for actual pee pads.

Just perfect.

I have not use this yet but it is a really good size for my carrier. It is well-made; and the only thing I had to do is tack down the trailing ends of the stitching around the outside because my little kitten will chew on any string he finds. I plan to be purchasing more of these. Especially a larger one for his playpen.

Washable potty pad

Really nice when you have 2 dogs to use them . Got them because they are washable. Thst way my dogs don't have to go out side when its extremely cold or hot out side.

Game Changer

We adopted an ancient toy poodle about a year and a half ago. He came to us not house trained or pee pad trained. We tried to get him house trained and pad trained, but we were unsuccessful. We made him an apartment in our guest bathroom and put down disposable pee pads. The pee ran under the pads. It was a huge mess. We tried these washable pads and now we feel much less wasteful and these actually absorb the urine. He is mostly successful at using the pad if he’s baby-gated in his apartment, but he won’t go to the pad if he’s running around the house. But these washable pads save money on the long run and they absorb urine much better than the disposable ones.

Fits pen perfectly

I like this pad. It fits my pen perfectly although I’m so good it hasn’t needed washing yet. I’m sure it will get clean though.

Great product

My girl has been needing wee wee pads and I put these down with the disposable ones over the top. She has pottied and pooped directly on these and they come out beautiful from the wash. Highly recommend

Love these pads

So much better than paper pads. My puppies tore up the paper pads the moment I put them down. This took care of that problem.
