Too strong for my dog
I have my dog 1 pill and it was way too strong for her. She was lateral and almost a zombie. My vet and I agreed to not give her any more. I am giving thus 3 stars as I do not want the product to lose any ratings as it may be a life saver to others, however I bought 120 and only used 1.
Working very well
My heeler takes these for seizures. I switched from the 3x a day to these extended release 2x a day & he is much less lethargic and seizure-free. Very happy to keep him alive!
Not happy with price increase
I have been buying this from you for over a year without any problem at all. It has been out of stock for 3 weeks now and now the price has shot up to where I can no longer purchase it through you. It is pretty sad that I have to find a new company for my dogs meds because him taking 8 a day of these there is no way I can afford that and my dog deserves to live without seizures. I will not purchase through you guys until you put the price back down to were it is affordable. I was paying 43.00 delivered now its 88.00 That is crazy!!!!
Good drug!
We are using this drug to control epilepsy. It is working beautifully.
decent med but not XR
My german shepherd Nova started having seizures a little over a year old and was put on this med at 750mg 3x day. Originally worked great but after a month switched to the extended release 750mg every 12hrs and it stopped working a few days after switch. She tolerates well with no side effects when on the regular one given every 8 hrs. Vet tried again to do XR at 1000mg (2x500mg) twice a day and same thing, seizures followed a few days after. Also out of stock sometimes and price goes up quite a bit month to month. The 3x daily version was great but XR didn’t work for us.
Doubled in price
They work, but they doubled the price now, I will be getting them elsewhere.
Ridiculous price
This medication more than doubled in price in one month. You are now the most expensive per pill online. And you do not make it easy to use the 25% discount on an auto ship order.
What is with price hike?
You don't notify when a life saving med more than doubles in price? SHAME ON YOU CHEWY! You just lost my business!
Very Effective Product
My dog has had seizures, and a veterinarian neurologist recommended this medication after thoroughly examining my dog. This medication was recommended for his severe seizures, and I am grateful that my dog has not had another seizure while taking this medicine. This medicine must be administered to your pet exactly as prescribed by the veterinarian for the effectiveness to be 100%. Do not skip or be late on the timing of when this medicine is administered to your pet. Your pet could have a terrible relapse.
Life time RX
My dog has the idiopathic seizures and the medication is keeping him seizures free, at the present. Chewy makes sure that I have my prescription on schedule to early. Thank you, Chewy.
