This tank does not include a clear lid. We do carry the "Lifegard Full View Aquarium Kit" which includes a lid.
What is the glass thickness?
Answer by • Mar 31, 2022
The Lifegard Crystal Bookshelf Aquarium features the following glass thickness:
22 Gallon: 8 millimeters glass thickness
16 Gallon: 6 millimeters glass thickness
11 Gallon: 5 millimeters glass thickness
6 Gallon: 5 millimeters glass thickness
I’m considering buying one of these, where could I find a lid for it? My cat will definitely eat the fishes if I don’t have one haha
Answer by • Feb 04, 2022
At this time, the manufacturer does not offer lids for their bookshelf aquariums. Some pet parents have purchased clear plastic clips to put on the edges of the aquarium, and provided their tank's inner width and length to their local glass shop. If you are looking for an aquarium that already comes with a lid, then we recommend the Lifegard Aquatics "full view" aquarium line. Those aquariums do already come with a lid.
