The Litter One Biodegradable Cat Litter Box Kit makes litter box maintenance easier on pet parents and the planet. This kit comes with a biodegradable litter box, scoop, pine pellet litter, and 30 scented waste bags. When they come in contact with urine, the pellets neutralize the smell and turn into sawdust that can be sifted through the floor of the box. You also don’t have to worry about cleaning an entire litter box—this one is completely disposable, so you just have to set up another kit after four to six weeks of use. Give yourself and the planet a break with the convenient, mess-free, eco-friendly Litter One Litter Box Kit.

Biodegradable Litter Box, 8.5 lbs. Pine Pellet Cat Litter, Disposable Scoop, 30 Scented Waste Bags, False Floor.
Use scoop to remove any solids into scented waste bags. Use scoop to stir daily the wet pellet aea once it has dried, dried sawdust should sift through false floor. Also you can try to move box from side-to-side, front-to-back or in a circular motion. Try all to see which method you like best.
Sprinkle up to one inch of your cat's old litter (it will have your cat's scent on it) on top of the Litter One pine pellets. DO NOT MIX! Your cat will naturally mix the pellets with the old litter. The cat thinks they are discovering the pellets on their own and are more open to using them.
It barely lasts a week before it falls apart on the inside. Not as cost effective as I thought it would be. Going back to pine in a regular box. Cheaper and not that much of a hassle to clean honestly.
Two new kittens would not use it. They were used to clay litter. Hope they will grow in to it.
Best thing since sliced bread. Great for apartment and condo dwellers.
I got this product believing it would be biodegradable and easy to use. I also thought it should be odor free. It's not. I can scoop or shift the pellets all I want, I can smell it in the bathroom and on the far side of my living room. Plus, I don't care for the pellets, and I don't think my cat does either.
I have tried soooo many litter boxes over the years with my 3 cats. These solve ALL the problems I have run into. I used to use traditional boxes with plastic lines but one cat ripped them up immediately I tried other disposable boxes but the litter they offer always had dust and didn’t cover odor as well (the pine litter is fabulous for odor and much less tracking). The high back on these boxes ensures everything ends up in the box for my high aimer. You won’t be disappointed with these boxes!
It is falling apart on the inside. Not even a week old.
Advertises as odorless, but there was a VERY strong odor when I opened it up. The smell was offensive to me! I can’t even imagine what my cats are smelling! All I know is they want NOTHING to do with this box. I even put a layer of their old litter like it recommended, but the odor takes over even that. I am going to have to go out tomorrow and find something different so they don’t start peeing and pooing around the house. Very disappointed.
I used this alongside another disposable litter box brand. Unfortunately my kitties are just too big for this box - would not recommend for a cat over 8lb. My male will pee right over the edge of the walls. The sifting floor collapsed in a corner in the first few days and now there are several collapsed spots and the sawdust won’t sift down anymore. Also the “pine” smell isn’t really a fresh pine, it smells like a lumber mill.
I have tried a lot of systems and this one avoids the problems of the others I have used. After using this system for six weeks, I appreciate these benefits: Odor-free Disposable Environmentally friendly Urine does not soak into the cardboard The back wall of the box is high enough so that my big cat, who likes to pee toward the back part of a litter pan, does not get pee outside the box Not much litter gets outside of the box. Cats get litter between their toes and tend to shake it off as the step out of the box. My cat has not gotten much at all out of the box. I believe it is made in the USA (but double check this) One disappointment: it lasts only about 3 weeks for my one cat. Plastic is problematic because over time the cat pee is hopelessly soaked in and there is no getting it all out. Which means the box is forever stinky. Then I am tossing out yet another piece of plastic that will take a gazillion years to biodegrade. Because this is disposable and made of wood products, it does not have any of these drawbacks. So all in all I am happy with this product.
Had this shipped to my parent’s house in advance of being our cat for Christmas. She took to it perfectly(we use same litter at home). We’re on day 6 and it’s still holding up. I love that it had everything I need; scoop, bags, and I turned the extra cardboard into a mat to catch any excess litter which made daily clean-up in the hotel really easy.
