Description

Go low maintenance with your cat litter with Litter Pearls Crystal Clear Cat Litter. Made with rounded silica gel crystals, which are a naturally occurring mineral made of water, sand, and oxygen, it offers superior moisture and odor-trapping qualities. In fact, it absorbs urine instantly and leaves litter dry to the touch—which in turn provides maximum odor control. And since the moisture then evaporates, the crystals can be reused for two months, making this an earth-friendly options as well. Totally non-toxic and safe for cats, it’s soft on the paws and with very low dust.

Key Benefits
  • Silica gel cat litter offers maximum odor control and leaves litter dry to the touch.
  • Safe, non-toxic formula is 99% dust-free and contains no crystalline silica.
  • Rounded crystals can reabsorb liquid over and over again, offering 70% less landfill waste than clay.
  • Fragrance-free litter is easy to maintain and super-soft on your cat’s paws.
  • One bag is enough for one cat for two months.
Precautions

Always wash your hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter, as cat feces may contain Toxoplasma gondii—a parasite that can cause toxoplasmosis. Pregnant or nursing women, as well as children and anyone with a weakened immune system, should avoid handling used cat litter. Always handle litter in a ventilated area to avoid inhalation. Keep contents and packaging out of reach of children and pets. Seek medical help in case of accidental ingestion.

It may even be best to incorporate some clumps of waste or used litter from the currently used box during the first couple days. A 50% new on bottom / 50% old on top mix best for the first month gradually stirring the litters to mix and let the cat get used to the texture and sounds of the new litter. By the time you get to the start of month 2 the silica gel litter should be the only litter in the box with complete cat acceptance. You may also find it helpful to place the cat in the box after changing to pearls and comfort them into trying the texture and sound. Pearls may have more sound as they shift as the cat walks.

    Definitely like the odor control

    By on

This litter is kitty approved: 3 kitties prefer it over the pine pellets. I like it because it doesn't track, and it controls odors. I put about 2-3 inches in a high sided litter box, and it's good for a week. I scoop poop daily, but just empty the entire contents once a week. If kitties are drinking more during the summer, I may add more litter during the week. A bag lasts about 6 weeks. The only downside is one chubby kitty sometimes tips the box over getting out, and those balls roll. Still its easy to vacuum up - but another reason I don't fill the box.

    This litter is alright

I can't say for sure how well this litter works because it has only been about 2 weeks since we started using it. It claims to last for up to 2 months, and I can pretty much guarantee that is not going to happen. Within a week it started turning yellow, but it still doesn't stink so we're just going to wait until it does before we change it. I like how the litter pieces are little balls. I think my cat much prefers them to the traditional crystal shape too. The only problem with the little spheres is they kind of roll all over the place if they come out of the box, so I have to really stay on top of vacuuming the room. It's a hardwoord floor, but as I mentioned before the little spheres roll I can't say for sure how well this litter works because it has only been about 2 weeks since we started using it. It's okay, but not sure if I would get it again

    By on

Pros: It controls odors great, actually better than most other litters I've tried. Plus, my cat really seems to like it. Cons: The only issue I really have is that it tracks something awful. I'm finding little litter pearls in random places, including under my bedsheets.

    Not for playful kitty

    By on

Not sure if this litter works good or not. All our *kitty wanted to do was play with this litter. She laid in it, dug in it, threw it out of the litter box and chased it all over the floor. We had to switch back to the regular litter. *Kitty is 7 1/2 months old.

    Great Crystal Litter

    By on

I was looking for a crystal litter that was low dust. This one does a great job of absorbing, no odor and very low dust. My only complaint is that these are crystal pearls, so both of my male cats jump out of their box and the little pearls roll everywhere. They have to be vacuumed up, don’t even waste your time trying to sweep. Also the little pearls are a little unpleasant to step on once they make it out of the box. My diva male cat loudly meowed at me when he stepped on one by accident. So I do a quick daily vacuum to maintain.

    Thumbs down on Litter Pearls

    By on

The litter consists of very big crystals . Razin carries them all around the house with his paws. They hurt my bare feet and I think they are also hard on his paws.I will go back to a small crystal litter that is costlier but less painful.

    Works as intended

    By on

I like this crystal litter better than other brands because it is smaller and more like clay litter, more appealing to kitty.

    Follow the bouncing balls

    By on

From the moment you pour this litter into the litter pan until you throw it out, you will have little crystal pearls roll all over your floors. They bounce right off the litter pan bottom and out. Or they get tracked between the cat's toes. You can't sweep them up with a broom, which will simply roll them around on any smooth flooring material like hardwood. Only a vacuum cleaner will get them off the floor.
