  • Good Idea But Really Bad When It's In production

    By on

I used to have a litter robot to auto clean. However it only lasted 3years and completely stopped several weeks ago. When I'm searching online, I thought this is a good product which has same idea as litter robot but with some manual work. But it has some issues, and now my cats completely hate this product and refused to use it and poop everywhere.. 1. It's not stabled enough when cats entry, it will wave somehow. This scares my cats a lot. 2. Too small even for normal domestic cat. 3. My cats are smart and they know how to spin this product. Every time it's spinning, litter comes out and mess up.

  • Good but you need to follow instructions

I have this litter box now for 3 weeks and these are my observations: 1. When you receive this litterbox, clean it and then spray it with a non-stick cooking spray. Let it dry and then buff it out. This will prevent litter from sticking. 2. Buy a very good hard clumping litter. Ever Clean Unscented is what I use and it's the best I've tried. Lightweight litters stick really bad in this box and do not recommend them for this box. 3. Do not overfill. 4. When turning, turn slowly. If litter is coming out the front, you are either turning too quickly or have too much litter. It's better to use a little less litter and top off every other day than to overfill. 5. Big cats will have problems with this box. 6. Turn everyday. The well that stores the litter is not big and it needs to be turned everyday or the clumped litter will quickly overwhelm the basket or stick to the walls. It took a little bit for me to figure out this litter box. It's not a set it and forget it type of unit. But for someone like me that has a bad back and bending over to scoop is risky, this is really good. … more

  • Really easy to use, love it!

    By on

I used to have 3 indoor cats and hated cleaning the stinky litterbox so I avoided it until... well you know, that smell! Anyway, I now have only 2 cats plus a dog. I love the ease of cleaning this litterbox! Best part is my dog can't get into it and play in the sand like he used to do. Great invention! I strongly recommend it to anyone with an aversion to cleaning stinky litter boxes!

  • Just okay....

    By on

We got this litter box because it looks compact and that's what we were looking for, along with easy clean up. While it is compact enough, it doesnt do a great job with the litter. The small pieces do not get picked up, they fall back down into the litter. A lot of it gets stuck and you have to try and get it unstuck. The most annoying part of all is removing the tray to empty it. The loose litter goes all over the place. Also, when you turn it for it to pick up the clumps, a lot of the litter falls out. So it ends up being fairly messy. I dont recommend this at all, especially at the $65 price tag.

  • needs some reengineering

The barrel is smaller than I anticipated. The older cats have a hard time getting in and out of it. The first time they used it it turned on them and they had to be coaxed to use it again after I installed a bungy cord to keep it from turning. The design is a good one just needed to be refined. If you come out with a bigger one with brakes ill be interested.

  • Not worth it at all

    By on

This litter box is not worth the money! It is very small, the ridges on the inside allow the wet litter to get in there and dry even when cleaning every day. Opening the try to clean is a huge mess and I have had the wet lumps break up as I turned to cause me to have to replace all the litter. Very disappointed.

  • Keeping my hands clean

    By on

My friend recommended the litter spinner and I won’t be going back to scooping litter numerous times a day. I followed the directions and used self clumping litter to the little line and have never had an issue. My litters been clean every time.

  • Not impressed

    By on

It is not the easiest to use. Even following directions when cleaning no matter how often you "tap" the pull out tray to unload the urine and poop clumps leaves litter on the floor. Had to buy a dirt devil cordless to clean up after emptying. Also too small for an adult size cat. Regretting spending the $70.

  • Not what I expected

    By on

The litter spinner doesn't "lock" into place as advertised. On more than one occasion a kitten was doing her business and the spinner moved. The catch tray is clumsy. Its just stuck into a hole cut into the spinner and not set on a true track. Honestly the $25 Omega Paw works so much better. The litter spinner will be used as the 3rd option in this 2 kitten home.

This was the worst litter box I have ever bought. When you try to empty litter spills out where the two sides are connected and from the tray. Very small area inside. My cats won't use it. Big waist of money!!
