LitterMaid Self-Cleaning Cat Litter Box Waste Receptacles, 3rd Edition, 18 count

These seem to be a lot thicker than the ones that originally came with my littermaid which is nice because the other ones I had a heck of a time pulling them out without one side or the other crumbling and dumping everywhere

It’s easier than cleaning the litter tray with a scooper. No smell either.

These are a great price and the 18 pack means they'll last a good long while. I put a 4 gal garbage bag to line this waste receptacle so I can stretch out the use. I have 3 cats (one is a LORGE Main Coon) and change the garbage bag liner once a day. I would definitely suggest this method, using these unlined and keeping them around for the week could lead to some very unwanted smells depending on how many cats you have. I change the waste receptacle when I clean the litter box, once weekly. This has worked out well for my cats and I so far. Going on 1 year with the Litter Maid litterbox and it has really made my life easier.

After trying various different places to replace the "catch trays" for my litter box, CHEWY was the one that had the correct trays and they were here in a flash of time. Great company!!!

Sadly the old waste receptacles didn’t fit the 3rd Edition LitterMaid which I love! Glad I got the new ones to fit our box.

The receptacles that came with it are no longer available. The available receptacles aren't the right ones. Left a vm for Littermaid a couple of months ago asking how I can git the receptacles that go with the litter box. Never received a response. Calls always go to vm. It's flimsy. It us a JOKE!

Not sure if I bought the wrong ones or what, but I've been having trouble with the dirty litter not quite making it into the receptacle. I had to place a plastic bag under where the waste goes. For some reason when the waste is getting dumped, the receptacle gets displaced, leaving a wide gap. I put in a new receptacle box and did my best to make sure the receptacle was locked into place properly. I haven't watched to see what happens, so I'm hoping it's locked in all the way. I had this litter box years ago and I never had as much trouble with everything as I am now. I'm really hoping I purchased the correct receptacle boxes, so I'm disappointed that I'm having such awful trouble. I called customer service on Saturday because I ordered the wrong ones for our litter box, so I needed the other ones instead of the previous one I got, the lady was so helpful, she was sweet, we were told our item was gonna ship out Monday, but they shipped Saturday night and arrived Sunday, I was happy, so I am forever thankful for Chewy, thank you so much, our Kitty's are happy and we're happy.

I didn't really think to check anything about these before I ordered, I purchased a Litter Maid a few months and finally needed to order receptacles beyond what the original came with, and figured these would be exactly the same... but they aren't. The images shown here look the same, and it is the edition I needed (3rd). However they are different in texture/color - they are milky and translucent and much smoother, which would be fine but they also feel a lot more filmsy. All would be fine but they don't fit NEARLY as well. The lids do not seat nicely once they are in the litter maid, and there is a loud popping every time the lid opens/closes, and sometimes it just won't close. Buy these if you have the 3rd gen multi cat. Do not freak out if the receptacles look different than the ones that came with the litter box though. But know that it doesn’t include the charcoal filter (tip: buy a charcoal beanie bag that can be refreshed) These fit in my litter maid. I haven’t had any issue with them.
