Description

Say goodbye to gritty, crunchy floors with the Litter Pearls Tracksless Cat Litter. Designed to reduce the amount of litter that sticks to your cat’s paws when he exits the litter box, this easy-to-maintain litter is also virtually dust and super soft. Made with silica gel crystals, which are a naturally occurring mineral made of water, sand, and oxygen, it also offers superior moisture and odor-trapping qualities—leaving litter dry to the touch. And since the moisture then evaporates, the crystals can be raked and used over and over again for up to two months, making this an earth-friendly option as well.

Key Benefits
  • Silica gel cat litter offers maximum odor control and leaves litter dry to the touch.
  • Safe, non-toxic formula is 99% dust- and contains no crystalline silica.
  • Crystals can reabsorb liquid over and over again, offering 70% less landfill waste than clay.
  • Low-tracking litter is easy to maintain and super-soft on your cat’s paws.
  • One bag is enough for one cat for two months.
Precautions

Always wash your hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter, as cat feces may contain Toxoplasma gondii—a parasite that can cause toxoplasmosis. Pregnant or nursing women, as well as children and anyone with a weakened immune system, should avoid handling used cat litter. Always handle litter in a ventilated area to avoid inhalation. Keep contents and packaging out of reach of children and pets. Seek medical help in case of accidental ingestion.

Transition Instructions

As with any new cat litter it is very important to introduce it gradually. Cats are not excited about litter changes so whenever introducing any new cat litter it is recommended that you incorporate some portion of the old litter to encourage cat’s trial. It may even be best to incorporate some clumps of waste or used litter from the currently used box during the first couple days. A 50% new on bottom / 50% old on top mix best for the first month gradually stirring the litters to mix and let the cat get used to the texture and sounds of the new litter. By the time you get to the start of month 2 the silica gel litter should be the only litter in the box with complete cat acceptance. You may also find it helpful to place the cat in the box after changing to pearls and comfort them into trying the texture and sound. Pearls may have more sound as they shift as the cat walks.

    Very, very dusty

    By on

I had high hopes for this litter thinking it would be less dusty than the clumping clay I currently use. It was not. I saw other reviewers suggesting that I should try shaking the dust out first before putting it in my litter box. I tried removing as much dust as possible by shaking it out first. I think that was fairly successful. But within about 2 days the crystals in the box started crumbling and getting super dusty again. I threw the whole lot out on day 3. It seemed okay for absorbing urine and didn't track quite as much as my clay litter, but the pieces that did track were painful to accidentally step on.

Great for Icy Sidewalks but not Cats

    By on

This stuff is like rock salt.....large crystals....not even going to open it and try it for my cats as it is just weird strange stuff. Yuck. Returning it immediately. I'd tried a silicon litter that is like large grains of sand......nice but seemed expensive but this stuff. No thank you.

    Terrible litter

    By on

I bought this litter to get to the free shipping on my order - it said TRACKLESS - it said ONE BAG /ONE MONTH - I changed it out after a week as I hated picking up pea size crystals around the house for a week.

    Okay litter

    By on

Certainly not trackless! But is a lot more absorbent than the non-clumping clay litter I usually buy, so there is much less of a litter box smell.

    Terrible litter

    By on

The litter is too large to sift through the litter scoop. I tried three different types and none of them worked. The whole thing turned yellowish and the litter rocks kept sticking to my cat's paws and she was visibly hurting to walk on it to go potty. And then she tracked them across the house and it felt like stepping on Legos when I walked around the house. I had to throw the whole pan full out after only a week Stay away from this kind. The smaller micro silica litter is much better.

    NOPE NOPE SUPER DUSTY

    By on

The most dusty litter I have ever purchased even though it says low dust. When I poured it into the litter box there was a cloud of dust I couldn’t breathe. I had to turn on the fan and leave the room. My cats won’t even use it. They scoop the litter with their paws and the dust comes up and they breathe it in. If you purchased this litter, take it outside and try to shake out as much dust as you can before use. Will NEVER buy again.

    True trackless litter

    By on

This seems to be truly trackless. The crystals are large so some cats may not like it but so far mine don't seem to mind it.

not up to my kicking cats

    By on

I have one cat that is a shoveler and this was just the consistency that propelled it out of the box. The other kind I chose is lighter and seems more resistant to being kicked. Orherwise it's perfect.

    Stinky and Still Tracking

    By on

Although it IS less Dusty - it still Tracks everywhere - and since it is larger, it is like stepping on a sharp pebble and loud when vacuuming up! lol Plus - it does NOT mask the odor at all! once my cats went #2 for the 1st time - the odor carried everywhere in the house. So every time the cats when #2 I had to empty it immediately. Definitely not one for us.
