Description

Say goodbye to gritty, crunchy floors with the Litter Pearls Tracksless Cat Litter. Designed to reduce the amount of litter that sticks to your cat’s paws when he exits the litter box, this easy-to-maintain litter is also virtually dust and super soft. Made with silica gel crystals, which are a naturally occurring mineral made of water, sand, and oxygen, it also offers superior moisture and odor-trapping qualities—leaving litter dry to the touch. And since the moisture then evaporates, the crystals can be raked and used over and over again for up to two months, making this an earth-friendly option as well.

Key Benefits
  • Silica gel cat litter offers maximum odor control and leaves litter dry to the touch.
  • Safe, non-toxic formula is 99% dust- and contains no crystalline silica.
  • Crystals can reabsorb liquid over and over again, offering 70% less landfill waste than clay.
  • Low-tracking litter is easy to maintain and super-soft on your cat’s paws.
  • One bag is enough for one cat for two months.
Precautions

Always wash your hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter, as cat feces may contain Toxoplasma gondii—a parasite that can cause toxoplasmosis. Pregnant or nursing women, as well as children and anyone with a weakened immune system, should avoid handling used cat litter. Always handle litter in a ventilated area to avoid inhalation. Keep contents and packaging out of reach of children and pets. Seek medical help in case of accidental ingestion.

Transition Instructions

As with any new cat litter it is very important to introduce it gradually. Cats are not excited about litter changes so whenever introducing any new cat litter it is recommended that you incorporate some portion of the old litter to encourage cat’s trial. It may even be best to incorporate some clumps of waste or used litter from the currently used box during the first couple days. A 50% new on bottom / 50% old on top mix best for the first month gradually stirring the litters to mix and let the cat get used to the texture and sounds of the new litter. By the time you get to the start of month 2 the silica gel litter should be the only litter in the box with complete cat acceptance. You may also find it helpful to place the cat in the box after changing to pearls and comfort them into trying the texture and sound. Pearls may have more sound as they shift as the cat walks.

    Terrible litter

    By on

The litter is too large to sift through the litter scoop. I tried three different types and none of them worked. The whole thing turned yellowish and the litter rocks kept sticking to my cat's paws and she was visibly hurting to walk on it to go potty. And then she tracked them across the house and it felt like stepping on Legos when I walked around the house. I had to throw the whole pan full out after only a week Stay away from this kind. The smaller micro silica litter is much better.

    NOPE NOPE SUPER DUSTY

    By on

The most dusty litter I have ever purchased even though it says low dust. When I poured it into the litter box there was a cloud of dust I couldn’t breathe. I had to turn on the fan and leave the room. My cats won’t even use it. They scoop the litter with their paws and the dust comes up and they breathe it in. If you purchased this litter, take it outside and try to shake out as much dust as you can before use. Will NEVER buy again.

not up to my kicking cats

    By on

I have one cat that is a shoveler and this was just the consistency that propelled it out of the box. The other kind I chose is lighter and seems more resistant to being kicked. Orherwise it's perfect.

    True trackless litter

    By on

This seems to be truly trackless. The crystals are large so some cats may not like it but so far mine don't seem to mind it.

    Stinky and Still Tracking

    By on

Although it IS less Dusty - it still Tracks everywhere - and since it is larger, it is like stepping on a sharp pebble and loud when vacuuming up! lol Plus - it does NOT mask the odor at all! once my cats went #2 for the 1st time - the odor carried everywhere in the house. So every time the cats when #2 I had to empty it immediately. Definitely not one for us.

    Compromise with the cat

    By on

My 24 year-old cat has gotten litter fussy. She didn't like clumping litter for the wet stuff as it stuck to the long hair between her toes. I purchased a grate type double litter box. Encased one box a plastic kitchen bag. Poured the crystals in the about 2 in deep onto the bag. Put the grate on top, and this is where she does her watering. No tracking. To clean, I just remove the grate, give it a soapy rinse. Pull the plastic bag back over the entire litter box trapping the used litter and toss the bag. No mess. She uses the other clumping litter box for dumps. I love it how we have to keep adapting.

    Not great for my cats

    By on

I purchased this litter for one of my cat that has respiratory issues. The crystals were perfect for that, but unfortunately they are quite large and kind of sharp. The cats preferred to pull them out of the litter box and play "paw hockey" with them rather than just burying their business. The crystals definitely could be compared to Lego blocks when stepping on them barefoot *ouch*. The crystals do not help much with keeping urine or fecal odor down, but overall the clean-up was quite easy. I use a sifting litter box and the crystals did sift through the grates. This product was priced well for the quantity, but unfortunately did not work out well for my fur babies.

My cats do not like it and neither do i.

    By on

My cat did not like it.. every time i refilled it, it kicked up a lot of dust and made my cat cough... it is not trackless. i step on it everywhere and it HURTS.. I dont notice it in my cats paws because the "pearls" are pretty big but, they do kick them out when they jump out. I dont like it. It also makes me sneeze when i have to refill it or clean it out because of all the dust.

    disappointing

    By on

I've been using silica litter for about 15 years. The kinds I originally used are not available, so I decided to try Litter Pearls. First, the silica pieces are tiny. That means they absorb less liquid and odor. Second, the litter boxes all started to smell after four days. I could go two weeks on the old litter without a whiff. Definitely switching to another brand.
