  • Great quality, great price!

I actually ordered these for my red eared slider turtle for a calcium treat! These are around the same price as in store, but they are actually larger, so you get more for the same price! They arrived intact (but we break them up anyways). Good shape, no discoloring. If feeding to your turtle, don't forget to scrape off the plastic backing! My turtle loved these, and devoured her piece (1/3rd of whole) in less than 10 minutes! Highly recommend!

  • The Peepers LOVE it!

I sort of hate shopping. It was magic when I realized I could probs get cuttlebone online! Duh. My zebra finches love taking turns sharpening and keeping their little orange beaks clean on the cuttlebones stationed around their environment. Have you ever looked into what exactly a cuttlefish is? You should.

  • Best I've found

I've bought cuttlefish "bones" here and there...even from China. These are by far the best ones. The last ones I had are the ones from China and they came in a small, plastic zip lock bag and probably self sourced. At most the largest was maybe 3 1/2 inches in size and all were a grayish color. My budgies {parakeets}, Sky and Snow, wouldn't even touch them. However, when I put these cuttlefish "bones" in the cage Sky and Snow jumped on them like white on rice and even squabbled over it so I put the other one in as well and peace once again reign supreme in their happy home. I watched as they rubbed their beaks on them and nipped a little here and there. I was relieved as I know they need this I've bought cuttlefish "bones" here and there...even from China. So Living World and Chewy have my utmost thanks for providing a top quality commodity at a fairly reasonable price. Sky and Snow thank you too. … more

  • Birds haven't yet taken to the treat

One of my birds in the past loved these, but my current birds do not... not sure if it is just a matter of time before they take to them or if the treat has changed. Only time will tell.
