My bird will love his cuttlebones. I have no idea why i have such a hard time finding those darn things. I've had my cockatiel for over 20 years and he goes to town on those things.

My cockatiels love these cuttlebones. The calcium is good for digestion and sharpening their beaks.

  • Impossible to attach to the cage

    By on

While the cuttlebone itself seems okay, it is impossible to attach this to the cage. The metal pins are absurdly short. The bird won't touch it when it is on the bottom of his cage, so this item is useless as is. I will need to fabricate a holder myself, or buy another one and reuse the cuttlebone.

  • Use These for Fish and Turtles

    By on Top 25 Contributor

These are usually cheaper than the turtle bones but are the exact same thing. My turtles love these and I have some in my fish tanks for the snails to get strong shells. Great product.

  • Cuttle bones

My Parakeet Rogue loves these cuttle bones. Unfortunately in packing them the "packer" put them under the large bag of dog food for my beagle Ember, and one cuttle bone in each package broke in 1/2. Really doesn't work with holder then :(
