  • Best I've found

    By on

I've bought cuttlefish "bones" here and there...even from China. These are by far the best ones. The last ones I had are the ones from China and they came in a small, plastic zip lock bag and probably self sourced. At most the largest was maybe 3 1/2 inches in size and all were a grayish color. My budgies {parakeets}, Sky and Snow, wouldn't even touch them. However, when I put these cuttlefish "bones" in the cage Sky and Snow jumped on them like white on rice and even squabbled over it so I put the other one in as well and peace once again reign supreme in their happy home. I watched as they rubbed their beaks on them and nipped a little here and there. I was relieved as I know they need this I've bought cuttlefish "bones" here and there...even from China. So Living World and Chewy have my utmost thanks for providing a top quality commodity at a fairly reasonable price. Sky and Snow thank you too. … more

  • Best Cuttlebones by far!

My budgies tear these up! I have purchased other brands in the past and they couldn't be bothered by them. I put one of these in and within a few days, its gone. They love them!

Not a treat, it's a vital item needed for a healthy beak. This brand is good quality and value. I keep these in stock, my Parakeets and Cockatiel love them.

  • Crazy Birds !!!

    By on

My three parakeets were fighting over it, I had to put another one in the cage, then a third one, finally they got better at sharing them, this is the first time I have seen them fight over the cuttlebones. they have had them before and only one of them was interested in it. but this is the first time they were ordered from Chewy. Within the week most of the three are slivers, laying on the floor, they keep pushing them out of the holders. I will need to order more as they have eaten most of them. Thanks again

  • useless as designed -- can't attach

    By on

Kicked myself when I recalled, as I tried to attach, that I had done this once before, meaning I had bought this worthless item. They have teeensy tinsy miniscule bits of aluminum to attach to the case which isn't even enough to go around bars of the cage securely. Impossible to use as anything but something to lie on bottom of cage.

  • not happy with it.

These are not very hard evidently. My birds chewed through it like a piece of bread. I have to find a different brand elsewhere.

  • Not good for large parrots

    By on

I had trouble putting this in my cockatoo's cage. Then she bit it in half the first day. I'm sure it would be fine for small birds.

  • Big but perfect

Nice price for the size. Keep in mind these are not the small ones (I didn’t realize when I purchased them).

  • Great Deal

A lot bigger than expected. I also bought the holder for this as well and it is a must have as well.
