Ordered the SMALL perch for my parakeet. It is very fat and too long. Very heavy bcuz it is concrete. My bird won't use it. Made well as far as materials goes tho. Would not recommend unless you have a larger bird.
My bird loves this

This is my birds new favorite perch. He sleeps on it now too. He loves to rub his beak and his feet fit perfectly on it. Highly recommended it. To see more go to IG @queen.arias.court

Our conure instantly made this his favorite perch. It has a smooth side so it is easy on the pads. The sandpaper like finish faces down and files the talons. I also like that it varies in size so that it exercises his feet.

Was a little smaller then expected but that's my fault for not looking at the measurements.I bought it for my 2 budgies (parakeets) and they love it.

the village birdfeeder had no cap this is the only one of 6 shipped this way. The perch was broken. I can’t find a contact to report these issues to

I have 2 budgies who used to use a sand perch. I soon realized that there was grit in it. My birds would use it to clean their beaks so they would swallow it. The grit gets into there dygestive system and rips it up until it’s so bad they die, glass was in it to. So I wanted a concrete perch so this would not occur and I found the perfect one!!!

Mine arrived cracked in 2 places. Not happy. Much bigger than I thought it would be
Size matters, not too rough

So I have a budgie and got the small one thinking the extra small would be too small. Completely wrong, the small was just a tad too big for his feet so I'm getting the extra small. It says in the instructions that the birds feet should wrap 2/3 around the perch and not all the way around. Its not too rough as long as you have the smooth side up so they don't rub their feet raw. Highly recommend , much better for your bird than the sand perches that you can get
