Keep your chickens active with the Lixit Chicken Toy. This fun toy doubles as a treat dispenser that you can pull apart and fill with scratch, mealworms or your favorite treat. Drop the treat ball in with the chickens and watch them peck and move the ball around as they try to get to the tasty treat inside. Food is slowly released from the openings, keeping them amused and engaged.
I filled my happy yellow ball with mealworms, gave it a gentle roll and it fell apart spilling the girls snack. They ate the worms with gusto but avoid the toy at all cost

It took my girls a little while to figure this out but when they did it was so fun to watch them peck, kick and push around this toy to get the treats out.
Perfect chicken toy!

I have 3 pullets and they are *obsessed* with this toy! I fill it up with chopped veggies, berries, herbs, or mealworms every day as their evening treat before they go to bed. They know when it's coming and they go absolutely bonkers over it. It's so cute to watch them chasing it around, making their happy chicken sounds. One of them picks the whole ball up with her beak and shakes it around so the treats fall out. It's their favorite time of day, and mine too.

This is a toy that I need to cycle with a lot of other toys. It doesn't work well for the long run or very often. My flock was terrified of it at first, but figured it out and ate all the treats within an hour. I have more luck keeping them entertained with other methods.
Good little investment

I just filled this with freeze dried meal worms and opened my coop, shook a few out and instantly they began to be interested. They are all in on it, so cute. Wish I could upload a video, it’s so cute!!!

My chickens are still babies and they just dont know what to do with it. They bump it around but more by happy accident than playing. They will probably catch on soon, they are smart but only a little bigger than the toy itself. I bought it so soon because i heard they play more with stuff in their adult life if introduced to toys and things when they're still babies
Dont know how to use it
