I’ve bought similar and liked them. This brand seems more fragile though. Right out of the package the mounting came apart. Couldn’t keep it on so I glued it together. But while attaching it to the kennel, it cracked. I had to improvise a steel back to make it work. Kinda flimsy but it’s working for now. The back fell off of all 4 that I bought. Glue works but it takes time to dry. Not a quick fix in a hurry.
Bought this for cat enclosure that I use for foster cats/kittens. Between the rowdy kittens and the feral cats, I was spending a lot of time cleaning up spilled water and food. The other hanging kennel cups are no match for cats. These are PERFECT. They take some getting used to when removing the cup from the holder, but it is so worth it. I have the 20oz size and it’s perfect for cats. Highly recommend!
My parrot likes to dump his dishes for fun. This stops that behavior!
As someone involved in cay rescue & adoptions, I've used this type of bowl for years. keepd kittens/cats from knocking over water & food bowls while they are crated. Also takes up less floor space.
A piece of the clamp broke in half as I was fastening it to the dog cage. We had not even used it yet
I purchased these lixit dishes for our Humane Society. They are great for cats and kittens in cages and prevent so many spills. Our problem is that several of the flat pieces to mount with have been broken and that leaves bowls we are unable to use. I would like to be able to get these flat pieces replaced.
My elderly dog has thyroid issues and is constantly thirsty. This bowl was perfect to mount on the inside of his kennel so he has access to water anytime he is in there (especially overnight).
I went fully by the picture and didn’t realize it was meant for a cage, which was not needed by me. I thought it was a plain bowl. Please include a picture of the part that locks onto a cage. I like the bowl part. Heavy plastic, so it won’t move around.
These look great and help keep the water elevated/clean & from tipping over. They do take up space so use the appropriate size for your kennel or crate, etc. It's easier to attach the bowl then fill it from a narrow bottle then to screw it in filled with water to avoid spills. Provided there is ample room, one can put on a second for dry food, etc.
Works great. I have 2 small dogs that were throwing dry food out of their crates but now it stays in the bowls..
