Is this attached to cage by a quick release spring?

There is a spring that holds the bottle on the wire cage or kennel. A cross bar is needed for the bottle tube to rest on.
How is this different than the small animal 32 oz. wide mouth

The Small dog bottle has a drinking tube 7/16 inch in diameter, the standard 32 ounce dog bottle has a tube diameter of 5/8 inch.

DO NOT PURCHASE

This water bottle leaks. I didn't notice the drip until I got home and my poor pup was laying in a puddle of water with his blankets soak and wet. I was at work for 8.5 to 9 hours, so I am hoping he didn't spend almost 9 hours like this. Poorly manufactured product.
