Small Pet TypeRabbit, Ferret
How It Works: These bottles have ball-point tubes, which work on vacuum lock, not valve seal. The control ball serves as a piston and releases water out of the tube when nudged inwardly. When the bottle is filled and first inverted, you must press the control ball, and let the water trickle out until the vacuum-lock develops inside the bottle, before placing it on the cage. Be sure rubber stopper is securely pressed into the bottle neck. A few drops of water may drip until the water warms to the surrounding air temperature. This is normal.
Washing Instructions: To wash, remove bottle from cage. Remove lid and use a mild dish soap to gently clean the inside. You may find that a bottle brush (item #818426) is helpful. Please be sure to rinse bottle completely before refilling and returning the bottle to your pet's cage.

Leaky Leaky
By Scarlett on Feb 23, 2021
Since there were a few 5 star reviews, I went ahead and tried it. Filled it up today and there is a steady stream of drips coming out of it. I can’t get it to stop, and can’t find info on return, so guess I wasted the money.

Great product
By Tiffany on Feb 1, 2021
I love these. I use them for my baby chicks so they don't drown an poop in their water. I also use these for my rabbit birthing pens that way when the babies start eating and drinking I only have to refil the water once a day

Leaks a TON, not worth it!
By BBunny on Jan 28, 2021
This water bottle leaks a ton. I bought it when it was recommended to me by a friend, but it is horrible! There are better, cheaper ones out there that do not leak.

Bad Product. Drips from metal spicket.
By Dori on Jan 14, 2021
The five stars is for chewy.com trying to make this right. Unfortunately both bottles were dripping profusely. Probably 30 drips per minute. Chewy.com was awesome!

Literally won't stop leaking. Even tightened the valve, followed all the instructions. Constant drip that won't stop. Garbage item.

Leaking bottle
By leaking on Oct 9, 2020
I bought this for our school bunny. I filled it up and tightened the top. As soon as I flipped it to put it on the cage it started leaking from the screw top not the metal ball.
