Not usable IMHO
Beside the toxic fumes emanating from this collar, I had a problem with the fitting of the buckle and loop. When the collar is actually fitted on a dog they interfere with each other, making it difficult to use the loop to attach anything. The loop and the buckle both make abrupt unpadded bumps.
Smelly Collar!
Not good looks like it’s made well. But the smell when I unpacked it was horrible. My dog loves new collars, he took one smell and took off. I couldn’t imagine putting this on his neck!
Dog Collar
The colar was a lot bigger than the measurements online State and it was very stiff. A little awkward but still nice leather and a nice piece I'm just hoping that it will soften up a little bit.
BIG BOLD COLLAR
I bought this collar in black for my 102 lb. male German Shepard and it is perfect! It is nice and thick and the padding feels nice in your hand and hopefully comfortable on for your dog.
Leather Collar
Excellent choice for durability and quality. An added bonus for those like me who love the smell of leather, it's still there months later!
Dog owner..
The collar is made of high quality leather but the collar comes off with the smallest pull from our german shepherd pup. We just can't depend on it. If the clasp worked properly, it would be the 5 stars.
Sizing of the collar
This collar runs quite large. I even measured my dog's neck and it wrapped around twice to fit her. Since the end stuck out it was like rawhide for the dog to chew up. Back to the drawing board.
Had a terrible smell
Loved the look of this collar. Heavy duty and substantial but it smelled terrible and the smell never dissipated. The smell bothered both dog and owner. Thanks Chewy for refunding our money and we passed the collar on to a shelter for their consideration.
Dangerous
This collar rubbed my dogs neck raw..the rivets on the inside tore his neck apart. Padded doesn't help if rivets are exposed to the neck. Entirely regret not thoroughly looking it over. Immediately throwing away.
Superior Quality
Made in Mexico. Real leather. EXCELLENT! Turned around and bought another for our other dog. We have a yorkipoo and the small was too big but worked excellent for our terrier. WELL worth the price!
