Dangerous
I thought paying for a higher priced collar would be safer. I was wrong!!! My 2 Goldens were playing and the buckle, which doesn't sit right got caught on my other golden retrievers teeth. We couldn't get them separated and the collar was extremely hard to get off. My one golden wasn't getting air as the dogs were panicking, and he was passing out. I took 2 of us to get the collar separated from his teeth. We were so so lucky that emergency care wasn't needed. We took a drive to the pet store and bought them both Kong collars.
Poor quality collar
The buckle on this collar never really fit well, and today, after using it only a few dozen times, it completely broke. It is now absolutely unusable. Of course, my dog is at work with me where she is a therapy dog, and I now have to keep her closed up in an office for the rest of the day because she can’t be out and about without a collar.
the band is wide
i have a french bulldog. I bought a large and the band is too wide for my dog.Its an 1 1/2 inches wide. if it was 1 inch it would be perfect.
Strong Smell
It looks very durable and is a very pretty color, but it has a really strong smell, probably from the waterproofing. I’ve had it outside for a while and it’s getting better. But I kind of hate to subject my dog to the smell.
Strong collar
Nice strong collar. I wish the leash ring was further away from the buckle and they made this size collar in half inch wide.
Sizing is way off way too big for my dog and not able to use it. Do not waste your money.
THE SMELL ON THIS COLLAR IS AWFUL
I have been airing this collar for about a month and it still smells too awful to allow my dog to wear it.
Poorly made
The material is high quality but the position of the buckle and where the stick from buckle goes into the strap sucks!
Quality of material is great just bigger than expected for a 10 pound dog
Not usable IMHO
Beside the toxic fumes emanating from this collar, I had a problem with the fitting of the buckle and loop. When the collar is actually fitted on a dog they interfere with each other, making it difficult to use the loop to attach anything. The loop and the buckle both make abrupt unpadded bumps.
