By far one of his favorite wet foods that I mix with dry kibble.
rating your product
Too much liquid. Why do you want a 50 characters long review. What I said is enough.
Coton de Tulear
Sophie is NOT a picky eater, but it was easy to see it was right for her. The best!
A HIT with Picky Doodle
Super picky doodle will eat this over and over again . . . Sawyer doesn't like veggies (this has none), doesn't like the same food back to back. So this has made a permanent spot in the rotation, he seems genuinely excited when it makes an appearance. The extra moisture/gravy I think is what puts it over the top.
I wouldn’t buy this again
The whole can was watery with maybe two small chunks of meat. Th me stew means chunks of meat with gravy not all gravy.
I liked everything that I heard about this company and their products. Unfortunately my dogs will not touch it. I also think that it's too watery and, considering the price, I was not very pleased to be able to pour the food out of the can. I understand that it is stew but I still think that it's too watery. I do have to add that my dogs are spoiled little hooligans and food is always a problem for us. (They have eaten the Lotus dry food more often than many of the others that I have tried but this item was a bust)
This was extremely soupy. My fur baby wouldn’t eat it at all. I’ve heard good things but unfortunately for my girl, it was not a favorite.
Our dog loves Lotus products. She prefers the Beef Shank formula to the Pork Shoulder one but both are great products and we only use as a kibble topper in the evenings; not as her primary meal.
Thumbs Up by Murphy
My puppy Murphy gives this one a thumbs up. He's picky and I have to rotate several varieties to keep him eating. This one has made the list.
Another Great Food for Dogs with Digestion Issues
Now that we have discovered Lotus Canned Foods, we could not be happier. This is the 2nd Lotus variety that we have tried, and the 2 dogs are so excited at meal times! This variety is filled with chunks of pork and bits of carrots. It is extremely moist with a moisture content of 74% but thick like a stew. It is made in small batches in the US with US sourced and human-grade ingredients. It is a complete nutritional meal and a unique protein for my highly food-sensitive companions. The nutritional value is also outstanding: 15% protein and 5% fat by guaranteed analysis; 58% protein and 19% fat on a dry matter basis; finally, 48% of calories come from protein, while 39% of calories come from fat. The level of carbohydrates is very low as well: 15% on a dry matter basis and only 13% on a calorie weighted basis. The only cons, two ingredients: potato starch as a thickening agent and calcium lactate for calcium supplementation. However, neither of these ingredients have caused any digestive or skin problems in my two pets, so we will continue to include this wonderful food in our rotation. Many thanks to Chewy for including a broad range of foods for pets with a broad range of health issues!
