    Small Kibble

By angelstelli on Jun 30, 2020

My boys like this food, but have to work at eating it. They are big guys and the kibble is very small.

None of the four would even try it

By jilma on Jul 22, 2020

I am so disappointed. The food and quality look great, but none of my cats wanted anything to do with it. They would not even NIBBLE. I cannot get them to eat ANYTHING but turkey or salmon.

My monsters love it AND it helped their digestive problems

    By on

Admittedly, my cats aren't very picky but they really love this food. I'm delighted that it is baked, since the high heat extrusion process has been shown to produce carcinogens in the food. I bought this because they had "digestive issues" and their loose stools resolved into normal ones in a week or so. I feed it as a "treat" twice a day and they are very very happy with it. I also like it personally because it doesn't have an overwhelming odor when I open the bag. Some kibble really make me gag but not this.

    Helped my cat with UTIs

    By on

I LOOOVE this food. My kitty kept having issues with UTIs and my cat wanted to put him on prescription food. However, the food was so expensive and so gross looking and smelling I decided to see if there was any other options. This food has a very low ash percentage which really helps with that problem and it's so much healthier and affordable for my kiddo. We love it! I've been a loyal user for about 3 years now.

    "WE" both love it!

This kibble got my approval from the list of ingredients; the first 3 are Duck, Duck Meal, Pork Liver. And then, some clams but no fish, no preservatives, and NO GRAIN. Then I put a bowl of it out and it was approved by my Himalayan. I like the rough shape of the kibbles, I think it makes them easier to crunch, as cats cannot chew. My cat gets a blend of 5 different kibbles in her feeder. I make up an assortment as the feeder needs to be filled. She will take her paw and pull out one at a time and eat it. When we run into a kibble she doesn't like, she will push it to the side and I will find a pile of them hidden behind the water bowl. That's saying it loud and clear. 3 spoiled girls (me&cats)

    By on

This stuff is great. It costs a billion dollars but I think it's worth it. After many food rotations, switching between the lotus duck and chicken is always a success. My Persians know, on the one hand that it isn't a treat, so it isn't like a fur flying feed circus, but it's gratifying to NEVER throw out a full bowl of kibble because it's always yummy for them. This stuff is really great quality and is a favorite of my cats! Recommend. (And I love the artwork on the bag!)

Dry food? They think it’s an appetizer and/or dessert!

    By on

Just like the vet ordered, my 2 kittens are on a canned diet (Lotus, of course), but I also got a small bag of the dry food for a treat. Now they refuse to start eating a meal (even if it’s venison!), unless there’s an appetizer of oven-baked duck recipe crunchies from Lotus served on the dining room table! (Ok, they’re spoiled, but they love their Lotus).

    They like it

    By on Top 100 Contributor

They like it, and I was shocked because my little mau girl doe not like duck. But I had to find another protein to because they might be allergic to their favorite protein which is chicken.

    Happy cats

I have four new cats and wanted a dry cat food to supplement their canned food. They enjoy this as much as their canned. But I am most impressed with Chewy.com!

    CATS LOVE !

    By on Top 50 Contributor

I rarely feed any dry....bad for kitties kidneys; however, I do keep a couple of bags on hand to feed to the strays that always show up in the dead of winter...Many times, its too cold to put wet food out because it freezes. The outside cats have always liked this flavor ( as well as the chicken). I have let my own indoor cats have a nibble here and there as a treat....All 3 have devoured this....This is one of the few kibble/dry foods that is NOT extruded but is actually baked...Do your research on extruded pet food versus actual baked .....I have been very pleased with all the Lotus products ( dry and canned ) !

    A dream come true!

    By on Top 500 Contributor

LOVE the ingredients! I purchased it mainly for my cat who is suffering from really bad hot spots, allergies, constant scratching, bald spots. Today was the first day I served this and boy he finished the bowl clean! I only ordered the small bag to try first but looks like this one's a winner for both mommy and son. My other cats are eating this food with delight as well. I will spend the money as long as they can benefit from this food. Try this food if you are looking for an alternate protein, and high quality food.
