Yorkshire terrier loves

Since I have not been able to get taste of the wild from chewy I have been buying it from Centinela. I tried the chicken and turkey and agree it comes out the can like jello but my soon to be 17 year old Yorkshire terrier loves it. Mix it with dry food which works well. Lotus is local to me so would like to support

A Watery Stew

I should have read reviews on Chewy before buying this product at my local PetFood Express ( I wanted to try just 1 can first). As these other reviewers say, it was super watery - almost brothy, not gravy-like. Probably 50% was this watery "thing". My dog loved it. But it is too expensive for just some watery soupy thing with some meats/veggies in a pureed style. Better choices out there.

Highly Reccomend

Lotus is one of the best quality dog foods you can buy, and my dogs absolutely love it. As other reviewers have noted, this flavor is more watery than others. My dogs don't seem to mind.

Rated Top 1% .. Canned food.. Whole Dog Journal

This is truly a superb topper for your dog's kibble. Keep in mind, it is a true stew...lots of liquid. Before I open the can, I shake it, then open and then stir with a fork to break up shredded meat or chicken with the veggies. Smells great, I top their FROMM four star Nutrituionals kibble with it. Ingredients are excellent, made in the USA, no rendered products... I like the fact it is mostly gravy...but, once you stir it well with a fork, it gets thicker. I rotate FROMM kibbles and rotate the different varieties of Lotus...my guys love all varieties. The beef shank is one of their favorites as is the chicken and asparagus. If you stir this product well before dispensing, you have a thickish stew... It is a perfect topper. I also feed beef hearts, livers and other organ meats in the winter...I partially cook before topping kibble. I have working dogs and they are in beautiful condition....and FROMM is one of the best kibbles out there... Love the Lotus canned food. I do not look at price but quality of ingredients and what the Whole Dog Journal has to say....and this food is rated as one of the top canned foods.. Remember, shake can, open, stir with a FORK to mix thoroughly. I believe the company should do more aggressive advertising to get the word out on this food...

My past experience with Lotus brand dog food both moist and dry has been excellent. I normally purchase their rabbit loaf moist dog food but it was unavailable. I decided to purchase a couple varieties of their stew grain-free canned dog food and was sorely disappointed. The food is mostly gravy, which is potato starch, with very little chicken or other whole items. I would not purchase this item again nor would I recommend it.

watery as diarrhea

I have fed all canned versions of Lotus for the last few years( including this one) The last 2 cases have been incredibly watery!!In the past, it was thicker like the beef stew. My dog eats it but I feel a pricey food like this should be so devoid of solid parts. I called Chewy and the phone rep was not aware of any problem from the manufacturer- may cal Louts directly- they need to do better..

Like babyfood

This is not a stew. It is a combination of pureed liquid and some shredded meat. Dog has to lick it up. Won't buy again.

Lotus canned food.

My dog loves this canned food. It actually smells and looks edible. You can see the chicken and asparagus in it. I bought it for her because she had dental issues and she can eat this easier.

Best canned food

Pricey, but it is by far the best canned food I've ever seen. It looks like real food, smells like real food. It looks like people food! My dog's LOVE it.
