More decorative than functional
This item was missing hardware when it arrived. No biggie, I went to the hardware store and bought the parts for a couple of bucks. The problem is the whole thing topples over when my cats try to scratch it. Definately not sturdy enough for adult cats.
Admittedly, I mainly got this to match my mushroom-themed office, where most of my cat's items are. It's on the small side, but seems fairly sturdy. We were able to build it in just a few minutes. My cat likes it well enough, if not in the conventional way... I had to teach her how to scratch on it, by running her paws over the tops of the mushrooms, but she's mostly just interested in licking the Easter grass at the bottom. I don't think she's actually managed to eat any of it, but she's missing some teeth and might not actually be able to. That said, buyer beware!
This one is on me, I should've read the dimensions but it's definitely smaller than I expected and if you have a full grown cat it's likely not going to be a good option. I have a 6 month old cat who enjoys it but she's almost too big to use it now. It also topples over easily, I plan on getting some command strips and sticking it to the floor of my apartment so hopefully my kitty can scratch it without accidentally knocking it over. It is cute and it seems to be good quality, it's just not ideal for balancing when a cat is scratching the top of the mushroom and it's smaller than it probably should be. Overall I wouldn't recommend buying it, but my younger kitten likes it well enough so I don't feel the need to return it. I feel like it could maybe be better if the base was large enough for the cat to sit on while scratching so that it doesn't topple over when they're scratching.
Cheap! Messy! Damaged my floor
I do not recommend this product. The base is made with cheap craft store plastic grass. Immediately began to fall off. Poorly secured with metal staples which scratched my floor. I have the cactus stand and purchased them as gifts for family. The mushroom stand is incredibly small and useless. If your looking for a stand check out the cactus instead
Cute, small, ropes fall off easily
It's very cute and my cat loves scratching on it! It's a little small for her, she's an adult but not what I would call a big cat by any means. The rope came undone about a month after getting it and had to be glued back on :(
Super cute. Definitely worth it.
This was super easy to put together and it seems to be pretty durable. My cat loves it too.
It's OK for the price and small cats.
It's cute but doesn't have alot of weight to it. When my cat tries to scratch at it. It just falls over
Smaller than expected
Measurements are listed, but I must have missed how short it would be. Our cats like to stretch and scratch, so doesn’t really fulfill that need. And small for the price.
Kittens love it
My kittens love this. It’s just the right size for them. They fight to sit on top of the mushrooms.
Didn't come with any instructions or hardware to put it together..... hoping to find some screws that will work or maybe gorilla glue. Kind of disappointed.
