Not really worth it, at least not for large breed dogs.
Not worth the money. Suction cup does not work very well, the plastic is too hard to create a good suction. We have a large breed dog/ A chewer. As it is recommended not to leave the Gobble Stopper in the bowl so they won't chew it up as a toy. We tried to remember to take it out of the bowl as soon as she was done eating....but within a few days she beat us to it and destroyed it. It is hard plastic and it wasn't expensive but just not really worth the hassle. We tried but it was a fail for us.
Wave off, don’t buy!
Bought this and tried it once and it’s dead. It worked for 30 seconds and popped off the bottom of the bowl. It has since become a chew toy.
Gobble Stopper
My Pug Frank just never chews his food. I was wondering being a pug how he get to the food in a small bowl with the Gobble Stopper. Well Pugs have long tongues. Therefore stopping my pug from eating too fast. This works. A must try for any Gobbler.
Don’t waste your money
This is a great concept but cheaply made and does not work. The suction is weak, my 4 mo lab pup knocked it out in under 30 seconds. We tried this for days without avail and type of bowl didn’t make a difference. I am returning this and planning to buy a slow-feed bowl instead. #frustrating
Not Flash Approved
My owner tried to put this in my bowl to slow my eating down. I like to eat fast so I just took it out of the bowl and chewed it up.
Well my dog has a new toy?
So the suction of this was absolutely not a thing. I would suction it to the bowl and put the food in and my puppy would take it out and play and chew on it. Not the greatest, haha.
Gobble Stopper no longer
Yesterday, I received the Gobble Stopper which was to assist my Sheltie puppy (11 months) old, to eat slower. It did slow him down for a while until I left the room for about 10 minutes to eat my dinner. When I came back, he had removed the stopper from the bowl and eaten the bottom. All I could do is throw it away. So, just warning you, I would use this only for small dogs who aren't strong enough to remove it and eat it.

This really does stop my new puppy from inhaling her food. The time it takes for her to clean her bowl has increased. No more choking or throwing up kibble.
Works great for cats!
Used this in my PetLibro automatic feeder with 2 bowls. Fits perfectly and suctions well to the stainless steel bowls. My cats have to fish out the food with their paws and it slows down their eating.
Not for big dogs
If you have a big dog this will not work for them. They will eat just as fast around it as they do when it is not there. The suction cup that hold it in place will also let go constantly.
