    These bowls are amazing

By NayM on Apr 27, 2021

I wasn't sure how big these would be so I ordered the smallest ones. They're the perfect size for my cats, they don't slide on the floor at all, and they're very easy to clean. So glad I bought these! Highly recommend.

    It's OK for my needs

By Jenn on Apr 11, 2021

i bought this bowl for a very specific reason. one of my dogs will be in a cone for an extended amount of time, and the only water dish he can't seem to flip are these slightly tapered trapezoid types. unfortunately most dishes of this kind never seem to be of a large capacity. i have three large dogs i bought this bowl for a very specific reason. one of my dogs will be in a cone for an extended amount of time, and the only water dish he can't seem to flip are these slightly tapered trapezoid types. unfortunately most dishes of this kind never seem to be of a large capacity. i have three large dogs and need one or two water dishes of high volume to make sure there's always water. this was nearly the only brand i could find that came in these jumbo sizes of this style. the bowl works for my purposes but if it weren't for that specific need, i would not necessarily recommend this item. indeed my dog cannot accidentally flip the dish with his cone, and it IS a high capacity bowl, but my praise kind of ends there. for some reason with this brand there are years worth of complaints about the label/glue being impossible to get off, which of course is stuck right inside the dish. i don't understand why this is an ongoing problem. it can easily stick to the side and i wouldn't care as much about residue, which was a struggle to remove without non-food safe solvents. the other downside is the rubber ring. i didn't necessarily buy this for it's nonslip properties (no bowl is unmovable and all my dishes are on absorbent anti-skid mats) but it hinders more than it helps. the base as a slight curl on the edge and that combined with the rubber ring causes water and slobber to get caught and stagnate and possibly cause rust. i removed it all together. i still don't like the slight curl since it still collects water, but it has a better chance to evaporate without the rubber ring. if you have a cone head and need a large capacity water bowl, this is a good option. if that's not the case for you, keep looking. … more
