Can the door openings be reversed?
Answer by MaliMamaApr 22, 2021
The easy answer is No. It is feasible to remove the single door from the end, flip it to reattach for the opposite swing. But... There will be no latch receiver to lock the door into. A makeshift latching mechanism would be required. With the Slider door there is no need to reverse anything as the two doors slide open to the sides within a sturdy track.

I bought a kennel from you and the floor in the kennel is cracking all over it and wanted to buy a new one or a better one that will last much longer, can you recommend something for me please.....

Which direction does the side door slide to (large kennel ) up and down ? Right or left or is it divided and goes two ways ? Can't see in the pictures
Answer by ChewyOct 16, 2020
The long door splits open and tucks into both sides.

Security can be fun

Our Boxer grandpup was going through his second chewing phase. Solved it. Got him a Lucky Dog Crate. He did not care for a traditional crate bed, but loves his old bed in it. Goes into his "Cabin" all by himself to nap and when we need to leave him in he does not mind it when we close the door!

Package was damaged she was broken too much trouble to even deal with

I called company chewy. I've been having issues with their deliveries and at this point I tried to explain to the person that the package was left out in the rain which didn't help but it was also banged up damaged. They told me I needed to acquire a box and such to try to send it back and not young and I'm using this service so that I don't have to try to go acquire these things. So all they left me with was something that I have to pay to dispose of. Bad experience

We bought two sliding door kennels because our two cavaliers outgrew their baby kennels. We love not banging our shins on swinging kennel doors!!! Our boys, M&M, love them, too.

Sturdier than others

This crate is much more sturdy than others we've tried. I would've given more stars but the primary reason we chose this crate is side door access and liked the sliding door option rather than a big swinging door. It would be nice if the opening was taller. Our pup has to keep her head down to enter/exit through the sliding door, which has sharp edges along the track. To protect her feet, we leave the sliding door open and keep a rug covering the bottom edge. The dog we bought this for opts to steal her little brother's bed. It's a nice crate but it's not perfect for us.

Door came off track

I loved this crate when I unboxed it. The doors slide neatly across the track and the third latch makes it more secure than some of my past crates. Unfortunately, my puppy ran into one of the doors on the way out and the door came completely off the track somehow, making the crate unusable within a couple weeks of purchase. We CANNOT get the door back on. This was a 30 pound puppy in a 24”x42” crate. I am quite disappointed.
