Ingredients are Not What I Thought this Product Would Be

This is not what I expected. All three items contain unshelled sunflower seeds and dried corn. These 2 items are 90% of the contents. The squirrels, birds, deer and raccoons are not eating it. It's meant for our backyard visitors. We'll take to open field for deer this winter but will never purchase again. Very disappointed.

lyric

My birds are not crazy about this mix.....but they LOVE the lyric fruit and nut high energy mix, which I have been putting out for several years. The birds and little critters did not like the corn in this mix, and much prefer the mix of nuts and fruit in the high energy mix.

Fox squirrels and doves LOVE it

This felt like a more diverse and healthier option compared to most bags on chewy with just corn and sunflower seeds. My fox squirrels have been loving their new feed, I’ve also noticed that the Eurasian collard doves REALLY love this stuff as well as the sparrows and chickadees. Once in awhile I’ll even get a bluejay, cardinal, or even a woodpecker to come visit. Amazing feed, lasted for about 3-4 months, haven’t had a problem with it so far.

Too much corn

None of our urban neighborhood squirrels, raccoons or rats like this food. I’m not purposefully feeding wild rats, they crashed the dinner party but even they won’t eat this food. I would not recommend. Waste of money.

Happy squirrels

I had been buying special food for my squirrels that contained vegetables, I could no longer find. I don’t use chewy as I have no pets, decided to check for squirrels food found this and it’s perfect, vegetables, peanuts, different seeds and cheaper than what I was buying. Will continues buying as I have happy squirrels, thanks

A+ From Squirrel

I chose this for my yard squirrels after seeing that the corn was cooked. Other brands available tended to say that the raw, dried corn was left behind. This beauty eats EVERYTHING in your bag and provides a fabulous kitty TV experience through the day for my indoor cats. We’re all enjoying it immensely!

Good Wildlife Food

I use this to feed the squirrels in our backyard. I mix it with a few peanuts, dried fruit, apples, and grapes. The squirrels seem to like it pretty well. I was looking for a mix that wasn't mostly corn and peanuts neither of which are particularly good for squirrels and this one seemed to be the best.

OK, except for the peas

My backyard wildlife eats most of this food except for the nice green peas (kind of like most kids, I guess!). I probably will not purchase more of this selection due to the peas being rejects by my wild rabbit, squirrels, and large birds (doves and quail). I like Lyric brand foods, however, so I do recommend this brand.

Give it a try

I had my doubts about this. We havent had much interest from the critters with the corn previously. This has worked out really well, though. We have various bird feeders, and we attract a good amount of squirrels, which we dont mind at all, as well as a bunny or two and a couple oppossums. We make multiple very small piles of this on the ground for those guys, which helps keep the squirrels from being interested in the bird feeders. (We use baffles too, which work great.) The corn is still the last thing to go, but it does go. I will add just a touch to the open tray birdfeeders once in a while, and the corn and peas dont do well, but they like the rest if it. Its really more for the 'ground' critters, which is just what we needed. Just bought two more bags!
