Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.

Our Boxer loves it. She loves to play tug, so we need strong, sturdy ropes that will not unthread. This rope fits the requirements. She can tug on it or chew, neither causes unthreading.
Excellent toy for that play rough baby you may have.
This is only 17" long. Good for a small/medium dog, but not a German Shepherd.
I found the Medium size to be great for a growing 2 month old pitbull puppy. Her favorite part is the free strings at the ends as they are the easiest to grab onto for her puppy mouth. The rope part is small enough for her to grab onto to play some tug. The knots are where she'll just try to chew at it from the side while laying down. I've had it for a week now and while it has some wear, I like the durability of this cotton rope.
I have two female pit bulls and they love their ropes. This one has been holding up for a week or so now. I think it will be a good One
This rope toy is perfect for my Collies to play tug-of-war with — both with me and with each other! It’s holding up incredibly well, too.
After only two days I saw my Tucker Boy dragging this rope toy behind him. Not sure how it was happening, I stopped him and found that it was tangled up and wrapped around his toe nail and dew claw. There’s a white spun-like material on the inside that stretches but doesn’t break and is very thin like thread when stretched. Thankfully I don’t see any broken nails but I’m asking for a resolution from Chewy.
It was a decent toy, only a month before my pitty had it in shreds and tried to swallow all the small pieces of rope. It’s definitely more suited for light chewers.
Disappointed. I have two tug of war doodles that put everything to the test, but the strings that come out are terrible. It sheds and is a mess with string our 9 month old pup has made a meal of these day. Not good for the tummy.
I was surprised that the rope was smaller than I had anticipated. Either way I gave it to my 9 month German shepherd. Within the hour the rope was destroyed and I had blue string all over my living room. I ended up just throwing it away. I have had other ropes last over 4 years with my other German Shepard but this was just sadly disappointing.
