Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.

Honest long term review
By Aries on Jan 18, 2021
We have a 9 year old Rottweiler. She loves chewing on ropes. This is the best rope we have found and we have tried everything we can find. The nylon braids, she won’t even play with. It has to be a rope. Normal ropes she will tear apart in an hour and strings go all over the house. This rope seems to keep more of those little strings together and still attached. We have used these ropes for many years. She definitely destroys them and can do it quickly is she is really bored. No rope can hold up to a destructive puppy. This is the best option for that in my opinion. I recommend it as it definitely works for us and we don’t have unreal expectations on how long it will last. If your dog is a power chewer, I do not recommend
By Disappointed on Dec 10, 2020
I got this rope for my dogs (older pitbull and American Bulldog puppy) because it looked a lot like a rope that my sister in law has for her pitbull that stood up to them chewing on it for hours when we visited. Unfortunately, less than 5 minutes after my puppy started playing with this rope the integrity was already compromised. The top layer of rope is so thin he ripped right through it in multiple spots, revealing the strings beneath. (see photo, there are multiple spots like this over the length of the rope). It should be a decent toy to play with the dogs, but unfortunately I cannot leave it with them unsupervised, which is what I was looking for since the one my sister in law did the trick I got this rope for my dogs (older pitbull and American Bulldog puppy) because it looked a lot like a rope that my sister in law has for her pitbull that stood up to them chewing on it for hours when we visited. The on;y pull toy our dog hasn’t destroyed
By Rich on Jan 1, 2021
Have had this toy for almost two months and surprisingly it’s still in one piece. Got the largest one and he seems to enjoy playing with it but I worry about one thing: the knots are so big that when he starts to shake his head the knots on the ends are like baseball bats. So get the smaller one, if you’ve ever been hit with a large hard object or you want a toy for inside the house, get the smaller size. Otherwise it should last a long time.

Eh-- We tried
By MD2015 on Dec 18, 2020
I REALLY wanted to love this and have this be "the one" that my dogs couldnt destroy... unfortunately it didnt make it the whole day with out them undoing a knot, and pulling shreds of rope out. I have tough chewers (pits) and Im just resigned to the fact that there is no toy or tug out there that will really hold up to them. On a side, note, we still kept it around another week or so, until I couldnt take the strands of rope literally on every floor surface in the house. Plus, I dont want them ingesting that stuff. This would probably be a great rope dogs that arent interested in chewing and shredding.

Not for Chewers
By Luna on Dec 15, 2020
I gave this to my golden retriever who loves to chew on rope toys, but tears them apart in minutes. I was hoping this would be a more durable stronger rope toy that she won't destroy instantly, but alas, it fell apart as quickly as any cheap small rope toy. She ripped through the outer layer in minutes which exposed all the strings for her to pull apart. Not worth the money if the intent is for this to be a chew toy. Would have rather gotten several cheaper rope toys that I would feel less bad to through out after a few days of play.

Great for Multiple Dog Tug o War
By Jaime on Jan 5, 2021
My dog goes to a play group every week (haha) and we were having a hard time finding a toy that would keep the dogs playing and occupied. They love this one! It's not too big to run around with, and they can play tug with each other! So far, it's holding up well. Planning on stocking up on these in case they ever get torn up.

The only one who survived my dog’s aggressive chewing!
By Kate on Jan 29, 2021
If dog toys had a Last Man Standing category this would win hands down. Holy cow! My 120 lb dog is still trying and it’s Mammoth Knot: 1 / Dog: 0! Would definitely buy again, but I don’t think I’ll have to!

Please buy this for your dog
By StrongDog on Dec 31, 2020
My dog loves to play tug. I’ve never bought him a good tug rope because he chews through everything. I have designated this specifically for tug & only let him have this during play time. It has lasted great with how strong he is during play. I will buy this again if ever needed.

Great rope!
By Pugcellentmommy on Jan 16, 2021
I got this rope for my Pug puppy who loves to tear everything up since he’s teething and what a win! This is now his favorite toy. Thick, great quality and bigger than expected.

Its just ok...
By Cathy on Jan 13, 2021
It does the job because my dogs LOVE to play tug of war and they do with this but my younger puppy is chewing it apart. It is also very large!
